    Somewhere in my 20s. I am 49 now and still have a sprinkling of grey and white hair, but mostly black. Of course, the hockey game is giving me a few more grey hairs.

    Birth. People tell me I have "blonde highlights", but blonde hair has color whereas mine is clear.

    I was 24 (long time ago!!!). I am almost platinum now; I just add some light blonde high lights twice a year for extra effects.

    Edited to add: I never covered my gray/silver hair.
