I hate this on fitness magazines. On this one I can't decide if they were add or removing muscle.

lmao I don't think there's one thing on this woman's body they didn't touch. It's funny to me that the boob that's furthest from the camera is damn near twice the size of the closer one. All her muscles have been airbrushed to hell, she looks like 2 dimensional paper doll with a human head pasted on. There's no visible veins, creases, wrinkles, freckles, or pores ANYWHERE. Ridiculous.
ETA: Okay, so her hand looks fairly untouched, actually. But that and her head are the only things that look remotely real.0 -
Is that her actual head on that body? It seems a bit off.0
-
So using our new PS spotting skills, who would like to talk about the latest cover of Shape magazine?
"drop 10 pounds fast" with photoshop.
Her boobs are a complete illustration, as well as her stomach, and her face has been so retouched that she looks more like hellen hunt than brittney. Its one giant cartoon.0 -
Can't. Stop. Reading. Thoroughly enjoying this thread and boosting my own self esteem!0

Great stff, makes me want to learn ps just so I can mess people up! Lol0

This is such a good thread!0

I've decided I will no longer try to hide my pores. I have been searching 4ever for something that would give me smooth skin. I've decided that's impossible now.0

Bump. I was trying to find this yesterday!0
-
Her arms are different dimensions! Look at the length of each upper arm and forearm! They are all screwed up.0

Her boob is the oddest shaped boob I've ever seen, where the top of it is squeezed out the outside edge of her top. Is it sort of shaped like an 8 under there or what? And that squeeze out is about at her armpit level. Freaky. Horror Movie. Boobs.0 -

The weird crease in her lifted arm is odd, it's like here entire body is perfectly smooth, except for that weird crease.
The thing that gets me on all of these are the straps. I have frustrated myself time and again about how my straps on underwear and bikini's cut into my "fat" and wondered why they never just sit on top like I see in the magazines, as I have gotten much firmer. But it's all just lies. They don't actually just sit on top like that for anyone because there is always going to be a layer of fat there, just reduced.0 -

I wonder if celebrities think of themselves as those perfect Photoshopped versions of themselves because that's what they see in photos most of the time, or do you think they are shocked when they see edited versions of themselves with teeny waists and Barbie doll legs?
If it was me, I would hate it. But I would hate most things about being a celebrity so it's hard to say.
To me though it would make it really difficult to go out in public, knowing that people who see you are expecting you to look like a magazine cover.
^^ This is my thought exactly. To have to live up to an impossible standard of your public image would be really irritating... possibly mentally damaging.0 -
Ugh I do photography on the side and I do some design work and stuff too. It's amazing how many people want me to photoshop their pictures xD I have a strict no photoshop policy. In that I won't CHANGE features but I will enhance. I've enhanced eyes hidden in shadows before (but it was a BABY so I think that's a bit better LOL). I will only whiten teeth a bit or fix a zit or two if they're really bad looking. And once I removed really bad stretch marks from a maternity shoot. Otherwise I never touch photos. I don't add shadows or enhance busts or butts. I'm proud that I don't because it's really poopin' stupid!>< All these pictures are horrible!0

Thanks for posting this, OP, it is the most interesting thing I've seen for ages. No one can live up to magazine covers photos. I knew in the back of my mind they had been photoshopped, but I never realised it was quite so extreme as these photos.
Makes me feel glad that they are not real, but pretty sad that this even happens. I hate the feeling of comparing yourself to this stuff and coming up wanting.0 -
Wow. Mind blown.0

Have to bump, it's just fascinating!0
