    Apparently, not all flavors contain gelatin. According to several sources (almostvegan.com, PETA), unfrosted PopTarts (Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Blueberry, Strawberry) don't have it so are okay for vegetarians.

    Pop tarts are evil for me. I have been a long time pop tart addict. I don't buy them often because they give me heart burn and make me feel kinda bad, but I may just have to try these.

    I have given them up because I can never in my life eat just two. I end up with 800 calories of poptarts to account for. NOw they've gone and made peanutbutter, that's a shame.

    Always a good idea to check labels if you have food restrictions, of course, but I was reporting what the sites I named said. And for what it's worth, this site says that these days, red food colorings are almost always vegan: http://www.isitvegan.com/2012/02/21/is-red-food-coloring-vegan/

    I'll have to try these! I love the Red Velvet pop tarts.....only ate one yes half a pack.....and the box is still sitting on my desk next to my bed! I'm still not sharing!
