Whatever, chillaxin, any made up words for that matter. Anything ending in "vore" (i.e. localvore only eats local foods. That's not a word!!) Weightloss JOURNEY... it's not a damn journey, it's your life. Own it.

Oh this list could go on. And on. And on.

:grumble: It is a journey for some.. and a Tuff one

"Just sayin" or "Jus sayin" --- I've never known any other words to be so irritating.

epic, I hear it all the time, but never when the situation really is 'epic'

Thank you. This is a severely annoying trendy word.

Haha. This too. Annoying and I'm never certain if the person's being satirical or not. Then again, could be part of the charm.

I really shouldn't need to point this out, but words are actually supposed to come out the other end...

"Surreal" to describe everyday events. Your life is not a Salvador Dali painting.

    Anal leakage

I'm opposed to it as a phrase and an activity

On this site: "honestly" - because if you ask me something and in that question demand that I be honest I will almost always change my answer.

    In real life: moist

Deprive for one. It gets tossed around way too much. It's only deprivation if you are not getting something you need.

    irregardless or irrespective.

This drives me absolutely bonkers. Yes, you are "just saying", because I heard you say it! What else could you be doing? Just moaning. Just breathing. Just whining.

I agree with the "loose" thing. LOSE is a verb. LOOSE is an adjective.

Not exactly a word, but I hate when people say "I could care less". This means you actually do have the capability of caring less. It's "I couldn't care less"- meaning, there is no possible way I could care any less than I do right now.

Conversate- WHAT? I have honestly heard people say "If you want to conversate with me just call me instead of text".

    Oh, humanity.

"I know right" drives me NUTS!

My easily irritated self enjoys reading these and agree w/this one, too. I absolutely hate sitting by high pitched voices repeating this phrase. Helps humble me in a way, but I do want to shout "SOUND NATURAL, PLEASE!"

I hate "eat back" in reference to calories burned in exercise. It makes me think of vomit for some reason. I also despise when nouns are used as verbs when they really shouldn't be.
    Journaling
    facebooking
    twittering

Also the opposite, when verbs are used as nouns in an awkward way.
"Do you have a solve for this problem?"
"We should lunch over this tomorrow."

One that fortunately didn't make it very far was "doing a solid". "Hey, why don't you do me a solid and bring lunch back since I can't leave my desk today."

There's nothing wrong with nouns becoming verbs. It's a natural language process. There's no "should" or "shouldn't" or "correct" or "incorrect" when it comes to language, really.

No one is talking about what is correct, so much as we are talking about what gets under our skin.

YES! I have hyperacusis, and when people start talking in their Minnie Mouse voice it just kills me!
