    only thing i would argue is meal time being significant.............

    If you eat carbs at night they are likely to just turn into fat since you aren't burning them off.
    But everyones different......... some people can eat a tub of ice cream and never gain weight. Need to just figure out what works for your body.

    NOPE, carbs don't turn to fat at night if you r on deficit!!

    I stopped reading after this statement:

    " Zero-carb diets like Atkins have you avoid all carbs, but that isn't necessary."

    How am I suppose to accept the rest of the information in this article when he doesn't accurately represent a very well known diet. Atkins, even in the old days, was never zero carb.
