    Why was this resurrected?

I am guessing it was the search function at work.

Well. . . at least the search function is being used. :flowerforyou:

    Good point. Carry on, menstruators.

Where's Joy? She loves a good menstruation thread.

Somebody come rub my tummy and feed me chocolate, please.

On the way! Same place as last time?

Maybe this explains the weight gain.
Did you just call me fat?! Do you really think i am fat Jof? Do I look fat?
    Boohoo where's the ice-cream?

You're gonna want to be more careful with your comments, Jof. Iulia is in a very sensitive state right now

    My first thought was:

    child: "maybe it's a tumor."

    Arnold: "IT'S NOT A TUMOR!"

Always - usually between 2 and 5 pounds. I try not to change what I'm doing exercise and food wise but I've realized that I may need to allow for a special treat so the cravings don't drive me batty.

I don't gain at that time, but I sure as heck don't lose any. I believe the water weight has a part to play here.

During my ovulation I put on about 4 lbs., but the day I start my period I have lost that 4lbs. in water weight. I do not weigh myself anymore in that time period.

Usually either gain about 1 or 2 pounds a few days before it starts, or I just don't lose anything. It stays like that until I have about two days totm left to go.

I tend to gain 5-7 that week and then about 2 days after it's done it's all off. I do know it's water weight because my scale also measures body fat%, muscle % and water %. My water is always high that week. So yup, it's normal.

i'm pretty new to MFP but i'm so thankful for the forum community. I've been eating right and exercising for 4 weeks now, lost a total of 5 lbs. Yesterday, i gained 3 of it back and today, all of the weight came back. granted, i just got my period today and have been PMSing all last week, but i felt so disheartened and so mad at myself. Seeing this forum puts things in perspective for me :)
