    UPDATE.....
    {After Week 17 & Breaking Through My Plateau}
    So here I am after week 17. I hit a stand still in my weight loss April 19-May 14. I know, not long right? WRONG! When you are eating healthy, working out, counting calories, watching macros, and doing everything you know to do, then 4 weeks seems like forever! Anyways, after going weeks with no weight loss, I decided to try something different. Juicing!!! Ever heard of it? Well, it is a great way to get tons of vitamins, fruits and veggies into your diet, heal your body and lose weight. I started juicing seriously on May 14th. I originally wanted to do the juice fast, but I have juiced the majority of the time and have healthy lean protein and veggies for a meal when I feel like I need it. After a good workout I just really feel like I need more than juice. So, that is what I have been doing lately and here is my progress for the week.....

    As you can see (below), since I started juicing I have lost almost 1 lb a day.....

    THAT ROCKS!!! that's a lot of weight in 8 weeks.. do not get discouraged if it slows a bit.. the body is constantly readjusting as we lose weight and it often derails us.. don't let it !!!

    :) PROTEIN, no wheat, and EXTRAcise ;) I have 2 protein shakes a day, a healthy, lean, high protein supper. 1 hr of cardio and 30 min weights!

    Wow! Hard work DOES pay off! Thanks for sharing & congrats on the loss!!

    I don't eat back the calories right now....I may try it, because my weight loss has slowed down. But I don't stick to strictly 1200 calories either...I am somewhere between 1200-1400. I eat lots of protein and veggies + 2 shakes a day. I cut gluten completely, because of the effect it has on my brain ( it makes me cry uncontrollably?). I exercise 1.5 hrs a day- as many days a week as I can!

    You must start eating back calories your metabolism is slowin down and you need to feed your muscle growth...

    Thanks. I tried this for a whole month and nothing happened. I kept strict tally of everything I ate. It just did not work. But juicing is working for now and I am still lifting, eating protein and getting stronger everyday.

    Just to push yourself the extra mile. Don't stop when you are tired. Push through. Take rest days so your muscles can heal. Lift weights, have fun, mix it up, and keep your body guessing. This is what I have learned on my own the past 4 months.
