Hilarious!
That is. How lazy & cheap.
They used a mannequin for the bodies and human heads. That is truly disturbing.0 -
I hate this on fitness magazines. On this one I can't decide if they were add or removing muscle.
No one pointed out that her arms are two different sizes, and that the top and lower parts of her body is going in different directions.0 -

Everytime I criticize myself when I look in the mirror, I will think of this thread and remember that the image of "perfection" we've been fed all our lives is nothing more than photoshop and other cheap tricks.0

Anyone else see the advertisement at the bottom of page 8? YOU TOO can get your photos 'enhanced' if you follow the link. :laugh:0

These are so interesting. I can usually tell when a photo doesn't look right, but am never quite sure why.0 -
Bump....awesome thread!0

There's way more than what is pointed out. They even got rid of her camel toe0 -
According to this article, Beyonce was upset when a mag shopped her to be less curvy:

Since my last offering was flagged for being inappropriate (which I deny), I decided to try THIS one...
I think the guy who did this edit must have been high at the time.....

And I'm posting this one because during this photoshoot, Kourtney was pregnant! They completely edited out her belly.

This thread is amazing. Thanks OP!
1. I'm relieved
2. I can't imagine that celebrities like this. Can you imagine the pressure they must feel trying to live up to these "faux"tos?
3. I can understand the covers of Vogue or other high fashion magazines being photoshopped as they need to look really artsy, but...
4. I am completely disappointed by the fitness magazines being so photoshopped.
5. Now that I know...these photos look ODD. I guess I just didn't notice before. Some of them are really creepy.
ETA: 6. For all the girls that want the "thigh gap", please note that it's usually photoshopped in!
Great eye opener!0 -
I think this is one of my favorite pics.
It's model Alessandra Ambrosio. With jiggly legs. It's OK to jiggle.0 -
everytime i see that H&M picture it makes me laugh so hard at how ****ing redic it is0
-
Bump - very interesting!0
-
I'm not certain I believe the "jiggly" photos either. It's just as easy to photoshop people to look less attractive. Those tabloid newpapers are always showing what is supposed to be real, but I take that all with a grain of salt0
