Everyone looks great!! I needed to see this thread today, was feeling frustrated with my progress. Keep up the awesome work! And thanks for the motivation! :flowerforyou:
    Keep track of those calories!!!

Women: multiply your goal weight by 10.

Men: Multiply your goal weight by 11.

This number will be your DAILY CALORIC INTAKE to MAINTAIN that GOAL WEIGHT.

So, if I want to be 160lbs, 160 x 11 = 1760 calories per day. But I am targeting 1200 per day NET calories to get this rolling a little faster. Hope this make sense.

This method may help you lose weight but at what cost? You should figure out your TDEE and reduce by 5 10 or 20 %. I am 5'2, goal weight is 120 but I eat 1800 calories a day (and am losing weight)

Same weight, but lost fat and gained muscle. 1.5 year difference. Didn't start going 'hard' till the last few months.

Both images are of a great importance for me..On the first one,it was a beautiful summer day and I was determined to finally join the gym.Did so on the 1st of August  Second picture was an eye opener for me,first time I have realised how far I have gone, yet I'm not completely happy and there is still a long way to go for my dream physique and I need to push myself harder if I ever want to get there. With everyday life challenges is not easy..But the further you walk on the path of your goals(anything really in life),the more painful would the be thought about all the wasted time,effort,money,sacrifice..should you ever stop and turn back..This is my primary motivation now.

I've never done this before so I'm cringing as I hit reply.

June 2012 at 190ish (I'm not exactly sure what I weighed at that point but it was around or more than 190)

400+ pounds on the left in about 2002 about 190 on the right in 2012 I am at 185 now but I have also been lifting weights.

In June 1 of 2011 I was 335 and that started my weight loss journey. Was down to 185 by July 1 2012. Been 180 to 186 since then.
