I will workout extra for a glass of wine!! :drinker:
Yup!0 -
Most definitely wine!! Riesling with fresh fruit in it is my treat!!0
-
I was going to give it up because I thought it would stop my weight loss!0

I drink 10 oz a day. (Two five ounce glasses) One bottle of wine is 25 oz so that's 2.5 days per bottle of wine.
...what?
Anyway, yeah I hope it's fine. I track my Vitamin C (instead of that stupid sugar metric that puts you over for eating a piece of fruit) to be sure that I'm eating plenty of fruits and veggies and not starving myself of nutrients to make way for the alcohol.0 -
Mmm...wine! I say go for it if you have the room in your diet.
Something to keep in mind however, if you are following a low-carb diet. Alcohol (some) is low-carb or no-carb. That being said your body will burn alcohol calories first before burning fat. So it could stall your weight loss a bit. Got that tidbit from my nutritionist friend.0 -
when "advance entering" my food intake for the next day on mfp -- i usually put wine in a few days per week. This way i work towards max calories (or just blow through it) inclusive of wine. I will gladly exchange a non-fat latte for wine (or beer) any day!
have a great one and enjoy!:drinker: :drinker:

Glass? No. Bottle? Yes.0

It's counted as carbs but your body processes as fat and sodium. Keep that in mind and go enjoy your wine!
Do you have a source for that difficult-for-me-to-believe information?0 -
For sure!!! Life is too short, you gotta treat yourself still, right?0
-
YES0
-
Nope... I prefer my wine by the bottle... or box... :drinker:0
-
Yes! I have a glass or two as long as it fits in my calories...0
-
there is nothing wrong with a glass of wine once in a while. Its worth the extra 15 minutes at the gym for me0
-
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.0
-
Yes please!!!0
-
No. I love my Shiraz, but any alcohol stops you burning fat. While I am taking this cut seriously I am not going to have a drop for the next 3 months (already 2 weeks dry)0
-
A few weeks ago, I did 350 squats so I could fit in more wine.0
-
i have a glass of homemade vino usually 3 times a week with dinner. i love home made wine, and i'm all for getting in my resveratrol (along with a resveratrol 500mg supplement daily)0
-
When I'm not having a glass of whiskey on the rocks, I will have a glass of wine. Not everyday.
Ok, yeah. Pretty much every day.0 -
I love wine!! I have three bottles in my fridge right now! Hey, if I'm still losing and I have the calories...why not?! I love wine.
I always cook with wine..... some times I even put it in the food.....0 -
I drink wine about once a week and I usually drink the whole bottle. I have really big glasses . I also drink beer. I guess I workout enough to keep losing because I'm getting fit and still having fun.0
-
Yes, please.0
-
DEFINITELY!
Yes Please I'll have another0 -
love the glass with the calories marked. I need one....of those.0
-
While correlation is not causation moderate alcohol drinkers have less health problems than nonalcoholic dirnkers and alcoholics.0
-
Wine is my only splurge - I definitely work it into the calorie count!0
-
sorry, still confused by the question!
Why is there any doubt - yes, wine, regularly. Just log it.:drinker:0 -
Yes please.
I run for wine!0 -
A cold glass of Wolf Blass Chardonnay or Oyster Bay SB or Kim Crawford SB - definitely worth the extra workout time.0
