Good luck with the challenges while you're travelling. I know every time I travel for work it's pretty slim pickings. Doesn't help I go to tip top of MI and I think they fry everything! I ordered a vegetable basket on the last trip thinking that was better than anything else. Surprise, surprise everything in the basket was breaded and deep fried!0 -

Lean Cuisine would not be counted into the fast food. To me it means no BK, Subway, McDonalds, etc. I wouldn't say no to going out with friends but try and make it a healther place to go with lower sodium, less fried foods.0 -
Hiya PSB’s!
I’m new to MFP – only just started this past Wednesday – and I’ve never tried a calorie counting diary before and I’ve also never tried losing weight with a support group so this is all new. I’m starting grad school in less than a month and I just know that between the assignments/traveling and a full-time job I’m going to need some serious motivation to keep going – especially with the exercising & the not-grabbing Chinese take-out for late night paper writing sessions - so it seems like I chose a good week to jump in. You ladies have such a wonderful thing going here and I would love to be a part of it!

I hate flying American. They fly out of terminal C at MKE and have very few food choices. I ended up eating a turkey wrap for breakfast and it was discusting. It seemed like a better choice than the buttery grilled ciabatta sandwiches that probably would have been delicious.0 -
So we're going to an amusement park today for my company summer party. We'll be there 7-8 hours, walking around most of the time. Not sure how I should log the exercise. I'm sure I won't workout after, I'll be pretty worn out just chasing my kids around :laugh:

Hello all, due to a "back up" my weigh in was out of whack yesterday. I have since corrected the problem and am happy to have lost a pound since last week since I slacked on my workouts mid-week. I've been back on track though so I'm optimistic and am really trying to kick it in gear to meet my Labor Day goal! Hope all is well with you all! Congrats on the losses!

Well, aparently someone send McDonald's the message that I'm not supposed to have fast food this week. I think the drive through employees were punishing me this morning for not meeting the goal.
McDonald's employee #1: "Can I help you?"
Me: "Can I get an Egg McMuffin and a medium nonfat latte."
McDonald's employee #1: "Anything else?" (screen shows a vanilla latte)
Me: "I would like a plain latte, no vanilla please" (screen changes) "OK, thank you." (I pull around to first window)
McDonald's employee #2: "You ordered an Egg McMuffin and a vanilla latte, right"
Me: "No. I ordered a plain latte."
McDonald's employee #2: (angry typing followed by ignoring my receipt request)
McDonald's employee #3: Here you go. (Hands me me a bag and a cup with a scowl on her face)
Me: "Is this a plain latte, not vanilla?"
McDonald's employee #3: (grumpy) YES.
Me: (drives away and takes a sip of a vanilla latte) "Damn it..."0 -
