Your body hates you and loves fats! If you constantly gain on that amount of calories, like 10 pounds, you need to lower it or increase your activity level.

What calorie level were you eating at before? I seriously doubt you gained 3 lbs of fat, especially if it was in one week.

So you added 200 calories a day or 1400 a week. To gain one pound of fat you'd have had to increase by 3500 over your maintenance calories, not your weight loss goal. My suggestion is to give your body at least 4 weeks to adjust to the new calorie goal, before you decide to change anything else.
