Can I count the water in fruit?
Replies

Obviously you cannot count the water in fruit was water intake. You need a hell of a lot more water than what fruit can provide.0
-
Such as an apple? What if it is water melon? If your body absorbs water from what you eat, it should count.
How much water do you get from swimming and showering?
you could always drink your own urine...0 -
well thats where the debate if you REALLY need 8 cups of water a day come into play. many people I know dont buy into the whole 8 cups because they say there is water/ liquid in everything we eat and ingest and to survive we dont need more water - good excuse for avoiding drinking water lol.0

I assume you're just trolling here, but if not- NO! None of that counts. You have to DRINK 8 (8 ounce) glasses of water a day. Showering and swimming do not count at all, and neither does eating fruit. Neither does kool-aid or tea. Straught up water down your throat. Come on man. You have to get serious if you want to see real results.0

Add some vodka to your fruit. If you do it enough, you'll forget all about water.
Is vodka a diuretic?
No no no my dear. Tea and coffee may or may not be diuretic. They don't count as water at all. Stick with the vodka jellies with pieces of fruit in them. Win win.0 -
Don't listen to these silly nay-saying people. Of course you can count the water in fruit. You've actually already taken steps in the process without knowing it!
1. Blend your fruit like you have been doing
2. Filter out the pulp (Oh, you did that too. You are so clever!)
3. Build this device:
4.Pour your juice into the device and wait for it to filter.
5. Measure the water and your done! (You can even drink it if you feel the urge)
With this method there is no need to worry about subtracting calories from pulp, or counting calories from sugar! It will always be 0 calories! This is obviously the the easiest and healthiest way to count the water from your fruit.
PS: Here is a schematic for moonshine.

You could, but what would be the point of all that work? if you're healthy and losing weight and not dehydrated without drinking your water and just eating your fruits and veggies, fine. If you're not thriving, not losing weight, eating too much because you're thirsty but it feels like hunger, it doesn't matter how many cups of water you're taking in via food, you need more water.
Well I currently get most of my water from Coke Zero and Rockstar Zero Carb energy drinks.
You're getting most of your water from drinks that are high in sodium, and you're trying to count the water you get from fruit. But you wonder why you have serious dehydration issues?
What's the real problem here? You don't like water? That's understandable, lots of people don't like water. Maybe try some flavored water? Buy some of those little zero calorie packets that you can add to a water bottle? Infuse some fruit in it? If you still don't like it, you may have to suck it up. Your body is telling you that it's not getting enough water. You don't just need to LOG more water, you need to DRINK more.0 -

no, but you can count the unicorns in the sky ....
But unicorns **** rainbows and **** pure water.0 -
Are you having dehydration issues or something? While a lot of the water we need daily is consumed in food I wouldn't count it. I also wouldn't be upset if I didn't get a full 8 glasses but during certain times like hot weather or more intense exercise you will need more and I don't see the point in nickel and diming out the amount of water in the foods you eat. Just drink it.
I have constant dehydration issues. I work outside in the heat. I need to be sure that I am not going to die. Someone would be sad about that.
However, if you work outside in the heat, you really should try to capture your sweat and drink it back. Between that and watermelon, you wouldn't have to drink any plain water ever.
Best joke I had all day. It must be the heat with all these water questions that does not make any sense.0 -

My idea also works on Kool-aid. Haven't tried tea. Actually I have only tried it on grape flavored kool-aid for obvious reasons. You will have to experiment with other flavors.
Also, grape koolaid mix is good in moon shine. Here's how:
1. Add kool-aid packet to water
2. place mixture in afore-mentioned filtration system
3. Toss out the water and remove the left over grapey powder bits
4. Add to moonshine0 -

You have to DRINK 8 (8 ounce) glasses of water a day.
That's completely and totally wrong. A good portion of your water intake can come from foods and other liquids and there is no set guideline that defines how much water one should drink. 8 glasses a day is a totally arbitrary number espoused in a 1974 nutrition book - it's only a theory.0 -

When I am having dehydration issues I will eat watermelon. I also drink about 100 ounces of water a day too. Probably more on heavy exercise days.:drinker:0

I don't think he wants to eat people, just fruit. Anyway, trolls need to eat something, or they'll go into starvation mode.0 -

Starvation mode is largely a myth. Plus I am fat, so no danger there.0 -

You can, as long as you do the following:
1. Have a glass of water with lemon.
2. Count the fruit in your water.
Just to be fair.0 -
