You can probably turn these into meatballs too ... really yummy.
Ingredients:
1 lbs ground lean turkey (I buy in bulk and measure out 1 lbs)
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp dill weed
Measure 2oz of mixture to form into a patties. Makes 8 patties.
I use a NuWave oven ... if you have one of these gems, just place on the tall rack for 4 minutes, flip, and cook for another 4 minutes.
I looked up baking instructions and found the following suggestion: cover with foil and add a bit of water ... bake at 350 for about 15 min
For calories, find your brand of ground turkey and select a 2oz serving. For the Foster Farms brand at Costco, it's:
80 calories, 0g carbs, 4g fat, 11g protein
note: seasonings add trace amounts of carbs and calories per batch ... feel free to add them if you feel like eating the whole thing!

Ohhh yum!
I made something similar and added black pepper, a clove of very finely chopped garlic and a teaspoon of tomato puree and it was delicious!!
They freeze well too so you can make them in bulk and just defrost them when needed.0 -
