Post Your OH CRAP, I'M FAT, Wake Up Call Pics

This is me 17 years ago, but the wake up call wasn't loud enough...
Not sure of exact weight in above pic, but over 200 for sure. A year or so after this, I tried to lose some weight, thought I'd made progress, and finally stepped on a scale to find that I was 213. Lost 15-ish pounds after that once I went back to retail work. Made drastic (and ultimately unsustainable) changes to my family's eating habits in 2001, got down to about 175, then it crept back on over the next 9-10 years.
So this was when I really decided to do something: Christmas 2010 (I am not the blonde deacon). It's not too detailed because I tried to wear a lot of flowy clothes to disguise my weight, which was 200:
Under 157 now.0 -
I still think you are gorgeous and love your outfit in this pic!!0 -
Here are some photos that made me not want photos taken of myself anymore

This is the one that showed me I wasn't successfully maintaining my 20 lb loss anymore: 12/28/12
I'm down 16 lbs from here (190-ish to 173.8)

This was on our vacation in February. I came back to realize that I hated every picture and that I was at my highest weight ever (non pregnant). I have so far lost 14 pounds since then.

both gifts from the same family member. Oh and niether were great books, don't waste your money!
I would have been like "B*!ch, I know why I'm fat! Now get me a real gift!"
 right! Ironic that she paired it with a book about cupcakes. Hilarious0 -

I have one very particular photo that jolted me to do something. I will post it once I've found it: I deleted it as soon as I could but my dad has a copy of all the family photos.0

My graduation photos.
My Mum and Dad were crying because they were proud, I was crying because I look fat in them. My face especially. My face has changed A LOT in the past 6 years. There are a few that make me look worse but I refuse to post those on the internet. :P
It took me a few years to start doing something about it, but that was what really hit me.0 -
250lbs (....that I know of): my son sent me this pic when he was visiting us---"Here's a nice pic of you, Mom."
today: 176
Wow! What an amazing change you made. Congratulations!0 -
Here is mine. I have been yo-yo-ing for the last 6 years (gained 50 lb when I quit smoking 7 years ago), lose 20, gain 25, lose 25, gain 20...yada yada yada. Each time I start again I set my goal weight at 145 and the closest I have come is 165 before I stop trying and gain it all back. Well I am going on a cruise in December I decided last month I was going to reach my goal weight for the cruise and as a part of of my weight loss I was going to do the 30DS and I had my husband take some before pictures on my day 1....WELL I should have done this a long time ago and hung this picture on the fridge. When I saw this picture tears welled up in my eyes. I guess seeing yourself from the front every day, day in and day out, you kinda of become accustomed to your weight, well seeing it from another angle was a true eye-opener. I keep looking at this photo and I am now even more determined to reach my goal weight once and for all.

AMAZING and by far, the most inspiring. I love to see older people (and I say "older" as a compliment) who lose a lot of weight.
NO EXCUSES, PEOPLE!0 -

This is the one that did it for me. OMG is right!0 -
Yep, this one right here. I was in such a bad place, and I had been steadily gaining weight for about 5 years. I'm working on it now.0 -
This was one of those pictures I didn't know was being taken. When I was going through graduation photos later to pick some to put on the website I was horrified! I joined MFP the next day...

I have PCOS and have always been heavy since a little kid..Started almost a year ago and have stayed committed to regular exercise & for the last six months did my best to do clean eating !
I HATE this picture.
AND I actually used to think these were cute pictures/I didn't mind them enough to take down from Facebook.
NOW:
Took this before a run last Friday

I suck at posting pics, but sadly, my "oh crap I'm fat" wake up call pic was my wedding photos from last year.0
-
I think I love every one of you. There is so much determination, effort and so many successes posted here.0

I HATE this pic...I look like a green M&M!!!! I saw this and just cried. NO this is not me. My belly! My neck, bad enough a double chin but I was also getting neck rolls! Got me back into losing weight though (been off and on half-a**ing it since 2007) this time for GOOD.

Me in late November 2012, approximately 280 lbs. Family Christmas photo, and yes, way too many people saw this.

I have had several over the years, but the worst and my heaviest was last fall. I had a mirror at home, I knew I wore a size 24 and I knew my clothes were tight and uncomfortable......but nothing like seeing it in a photo.
