herbs/spices, plain tea, Hot sauce doesn't get logged much, nor does mustard.0

if i use a 5 calorie crystal light packet in my water bottle (maybe 1-2 times a week) i tend to forget to log it. every time. whoops. aside from that, the only thing left out is the water i use to mix my protein powder, and/or put in soup/stew/etc. while cooking. i still log all of the water i drink on its own though.0

I never record the 1% milk I put in my coffee nor do I record the gum I chew.0

I don't log anything that is zero calories. I put a splash of milk in my oatmeal when i have it about 3 times a week, i don't log it either. anything else, I log it.0

I don't record my vitamins. I don't record the two or three baby carrots I eat while I'm waiting for dinner to cook. Or the six or seven wasabi peas I eat when I have the munchies. Or the single strawberry I had at lunch. I rarely record the lettuce on my sandwich or the spray of Pam in my frying pan.
I also don't log the strength exercises I do at my desk while my officemate is at lunch. Or the extra-long shopping sessions on the weekends. Or standing at an auction all day on the occasional Saturday. Or scrubbing the bathtub when I can't stand it anymore. Or mowing my parents' lawn.
It all evens out in the end.0 -
Raw vegetables off a veggie tray. Couldn't be bothered to spend the time to look up 4 baby carrots, 2 broccoli florets, 5 cherry tomatoes, etc. I also don't log cooking spray.0

I don't log spices, or little nibbles here and there. But I've learned to start logging my coffee, even though i take it black, it's still, 5 calories I think for 2 cups, and i usually have 4 throughout the day.
I figure there are a few calories in the spices I use, so I might as well log one of the two just because I should.
Also, mustard and lettuce on sandwiches and things like that. I don't think anyone should log those. lol0 -
I am sure , as I eat out a lot, I miss a lot. But I don't nibble anymore. I added up nibbles one day, and it was an extra 200 calories so I stopped. I am within 5 pounds of the bottom of my weight range. I try to record everything,coffee included. Definetly creamer, or any sauce including ketchup and salsa. That stuff adds up quickly.
My sister records her weekly intake of gum and mints on monday. She buys a new roll of mints and a pack of gum every Monday morning and then just chews/eats at will.. it helps her to remember it's calories.
I stop recording water after 8 glasses.0 -

If I steal a cracker or two from my kids' plates I don't log that. If I take a handful of crackers from the box, I log it. Sometimes while I'm cooking I'll nibble around, but I usually try to factor it in to the end result of what I'm making.0

I record everything, even 0 calories tea and coffee. Just to create a habit. I cheated couple times on the day when I ate out, ate a lot, and know I was way over my calorie limit. Those were days that I just enjoyed myself and didn't want to bother with calorie counting to get upset (I logged in main dish, saw it was over the limit and called the day).0

If I have a couple carrots, I don't record them. 4 baby carrots is NOT going to derail my progress. I don't log silly things like the breathmint I had before a meeting, either. If I take a small bite of something, which isn't often but does happen, I don't even see the need. Sometimes a little taste is all I need...like a couple of cashews. Not a handfull, not a pinch, but like...5 cashews.
It's too nit-picky for me. I'm more big-picture...and I don't splurge enough to really let it affect me.0 -
Sometimes when I've been REALLY bad I won't log it at first. I will wait a day or two before I add it but I ALWAYS add everything to my diary (Only because I am hoping my sister doesn't read it right a way...lol). Except maybe breath mints.0

Small things like trident gum, 0 calorie water flavoring liquid, diet soda (I have a few a week,) the spoon of splenda in my coffee...I don't bother with it.0

Sugar free gum...crystal light....sometimes coffee w/ creamer are all freebies for me.0

I don't record salads...0

I log everything except:
- small tastes of food I cook
- things like the single french fry or one goldfish cracker I grab occasionally from my daughter's plate
- The little bites of food my daughter gives me when she doesn't want to finish something.
I generally assume that the above is covered by either extra activity throughout the day or counted in the eventual portions of the snacks/meals I eat (so the one extra spoon of chili I eat when cooking gets rolled into the bowl of chili I eat when it's done).

i dont bother to record stuff like the 5 cals for crystal light, a sugar free breath mint (unless its more than one) a dab of margerine here or there. or a bite of something my b/f is eating. I also dont log all the running around/lifting i do during overtime at work, gardening/yard work that lasts less than 45 mins or when I park as far away from the store im going to as possible and carry my bags instead of using a cart, or when i take the stairs at work. it all evens out0

I don't record if I eat a couple of cashews. Also, I work at Starbucks and occasionally we sample new beverages and I can't be bothered to record those.0

y'all are more dedicated than me! I know the calories on packages are off, my estimates of sizes are off, calories burned during exercise is an estimate, etc. As a result, I aim to track the big stuff, and do 'well enough' (I'm losing slowly and happily). I forget condiments, I estimate recipes, I'm pretty lazy I guess.0

I usually ignore 'Zero Calorie' products like Diet Soda or Zero calorie sports drink sometime. Not sure, whether it will add value, to log them.

I record everything I eat and everything I drink on the days I save my diary on this site. If I do not save my diary then I did not put everything. I like having a record of what I eat.0
