    6/1 - 5 miles.

    6/3 - 5 miles.
    6/4 - 5 miles.
    6/5 - 5 miles. 92 degrees. Nearly didn't make it. Need to make adjustments because dying on mile-4 would kind of defeat the point of riding.
    6/6 - 5 miles and then 1 mile later for 6 miles total for today.
    6/7 - 5.4 miles.
    6/8 - 5 miles. And, 1.5 miles for 6.5 total.
    6/9 - 6.5 miles total.

    Whoops---posted in the "look-alike" thread but now I found the right one!

    I'm back in. I had my sweet baby boy one month ago via c-section and I have been working on slowly cycling a few times in the last couple weeks, (to keep my knee scar tissue broken up,) but today I did my first "halfway normal" ride of 9.25 miles in 45 minutes. Aiming for about 75 miles this month, maybe a few more if I can get it in. Glad to get back on the bike and hoping to do a few outdoor rides this month, too, now that I'm not lugging around a watermelon to mess with my balance ;)

    June Goal: 75 miles
    June Miles to Date: 9.25 mi


    June 8---9.25 mi (45 min stationary)

    Another ride this morning---6.25 mi. Feels awesome to get my heart pumping and legs burning again =)

Aiming for about 75 miles this month, maybe a few more if I can get it in. Glad to get back on the bike and hoping to do a few outdoor rides this month, too, now that I'm not lugging around a watermelon to mess with my balance ;)

    Hello everyone...

    I'm late to this party, but I'm loving the sound of the challenge! I love cycling, and I know I cycle at least 2 miles every day just back and forth from work and into town.

    I'm setting myself a goal of 150 miles starting from today. Today I have cycled 11 miles :)

    June Goal: 150 miles
    June Miles to Date: 11 miles

    Hello everyone...

    I'm in !!!

    I finally spent some dough on a decent mountain bike (XL Diamondback Sport 29er)

    I ride back and forth to work several times a week, 13 miles round trip. I hope to ride at least 150-200 miles this month. :D

    Edit: I've rolled about 20 miles so far this month.

    48 miles total so far.

    Exciting morning: I did my first postpartum 13 miler in under an hour. It felt amazing and I am pretty dang proud of myself! Can't wait to repeat it a few more times and then attempt my favorite (but killer) spin class with the hubby in a month or so!

    June 12-- 13 mi (60 min stationary)
    June 10---6.25 mi (30 min stationary)

    Week before was only about 30.
    I am using Runkeeper to track my mileage.

    i am training for RAGBRAI which is a bike ride across the state of Iowa the 4th week in July. I rode 43 miles on Saturday, hoping for 50 or more this weekend barring any rain. Last year RAGBRAI took me 450 miles in 7 days with 115 degree heat indexes. Looking forward to a great ride this year.

    Yeah, don't let the early pace fool you. Haha. I'm going to be away for a week. And, I can't ride in the extreme heat so today was only 2.7 miles. Probably won't ride tomorrow with expected heat index of 110 degrees. :(

    Had to do stationery biking today because it was raining and super windy...such hot temperatures that you guys seem to be getting aren't a problem here in England :( Just the typical rain all the time...

    Cycling is such a great exercise and it gets you outside and you can see so much. I started a year ago with a goal to ride a 25 mile course ( 1/4 century :) This year I started riding to work (13 miles each way) a couple times a week and try to get a 40-60 mile ride in on the weekend. It is addicting. There is an app, if you have a smartphone, call Strava, which is great for tracking your rides, but is fun, because people mark different segments of roads and Strava will tell you how you do compared to other folks as well as how you did compared to previous rides.

    My goal this month is 400 miles.

    A year ago that was a dream. Go and get addicted!!!
