Hit a mini-goal ... so close to my FINAL goal!

So this morning I stepped on the scale to learn - I've crossed the 50 pounds lost mark! I could NOT believe it. I had to weight myself 4 times to make sure it read the same every time!!

I've gone from 242 to 188. I have NEVER been below 190 in my adult life. I don't even think I was below 190 in my teenage years. I can't really remember. My ultimate goal is about 155 (maybe more, maybe less. I'll see when I get there!) Shoot, I've lost 53 pounds, those last 30 or so should be a breeze! LOL

I thought I'd post some before and after pictures as of right now. I can't wait until I get to take those final "after" pictures. A friend of mine is taking them and I don't even care how much she charges me, I'm so excited.

And for fun, me attempting with all my might to lift a 52 pound hand weight. It really put into perspective just how much weight I took off my body and why I always felt the way I did before!

    Thank you! "after" pictures are the only way I ever see a difference in myself, because sometimes looking in the mirror just doesn't help haha

    You look AWESOME!!! I find the best way to notice a differene is through before and after pics because we are all so hard on ourselves that even if we are loosing we wont notice a difference ourselves.
