I'm 5'3" and my goal weight is 130 but will be happy when I reach 1400

well I'm 5'2 my goal is to be about 100-110. Its really what you want, are you just wanting to tone out or are you wanting to loss a significant amount of weight.0

I'm 5'4" and weigh 270. I'm just starting out and my goal is 1450

I am 5'4" and my goal is 125. With that said I have been making a lot of head changes since starting this journey. I don't see myself skinny, I see myself fit with muscles. I want abs, defined calves and defined arms! Of course with those muscles comes inevitable muscle weight so I am OK with not being the weight my Dr. suggested would be good for me if it means getting the body I want in the long run.0

I'm 5'3" and my starting weight is 188. I just started tracking my calories here. My CW is 184 but I am looking to get down to 130. I just cannot seem to get myself motivated to workout on a consistent basis.0

I'm 5'3, starting weight was around 234 lbs. Currently I weight 155 (or 154) and my goal is 140. When I did my first metabolic testing at a wellness center, I told them my goal was 120-130 lbs. She basically said I would look too skinny and unhealthy if I went that far down because of my body composition. I want to look toned not just skinny My body loves to build muscle and I used to hate it, now i welcome it.0

My goal is a healthy BMI, 18.5-24.9, which at 5'3" would be 104-141 pounds. I don't think I will ever get to that. I had a physician who specialized in weight loss who said based on my large frame and bone weight, that I needed to weigh 162 pounds to "carry" my bones in a health way. He had some fancy scale that weighed bone, muscle, water, and fat. He said that the water weight should always be about the same and the bone weight doesn't really change, but I should work to lower the fat weight and increase the muscle weight by eating more protein - so my muscles could carry my bones. Hmmm. It makes sense, but weighing 162 I would still be over the "right" BMI!?!?!
Personally, I was stuck at 227 for about the last 5 years. My max was up to 343 when my son was born 10 years ago, but over the years I lost some here and there. I started really working on it and I got down to 197 in November. Then I met my loving boyfriend who likes to feed me and 7 months later I am back up to 222 and I am NOT happy about it. (He gained weight too, so haha! LOL!)
So here I am...
My short term goal is to get back under 200.
My long term goal is to get to the 162 the doctor recommended.
My ultimate goal would be to get below 141 - I anticipate the likelihood of that as to my finding a unicorn in my yard!
p.s. Any suggestions would be appreciated...and friend requests, the more reinforcement the merrier!0 -

You should try walking. It's good fun if you listen to some music, and a half hour walk can make a big difference. I'm not very active, and can't afford a gym membership or anything like that, but I find it easy to fit walking into my day.0 -
I'm 5'3" with a current weight of 128, goal weight of 120.0

I'm 5'3, ultimate goal weight is about 140-145. I should be around 130ish, but thats what I weighed in high school, and looking at those pics now, it seems like i was just skin and bones! Will see when I get closer to my goal. Right now I'm 168 ( as of last week) from 193 in December.
I have never lost weight the "healthy" or "right" way so I set some goals for myself in stages. My first goal was to loose 30 pounds by my 39th bday in July. I am now 5 pounds away ( wooohooo). This goal was set in January. After I reach my first goal in July, I am planning to loose another 20 by the end of the year. That will make a total of 50 pounds lost in 1 year.0 -
I'm 5'2.8" (the fact I'm almost 5'3" is so important )
My ultimate goal is 112lbs(8 stone), will be happy with 119lbs(8 1/2 stone)!0 -
5'3 and my goal is 130. However I would love to see 129 on the scale.0

5'3" and goal weight is 140-145 however It would be nice to lower my body fat % as well.0
-
I am 5'4" - I want to be strong! (not just thin or toned) So..135 is my goal right now.
But really, it's all about how you look in the mirror and not the number on the scale0 -
My goal is 135-1400
-
I'm 5'5 and I'm aiming for between 150-160lbs. That will be around 100ish lbs from starting point.0
-
I'm not quite 5'3...I am 5'2 but my goal is 135-140...I will know when I see it in the mirror...remember though that height isn't going to be your only driving force, u want to take in to account your body shape and body fat percentage as well.0

I'm 5'4" and started at 220 and have currently lost 47 pounds, with a goal weight of 150. I'm also 60 years old and going lower than that is probably unrealistic.0

Hi,
My goal is 128..I'm at 170 and only 5'3 and so far I've dropped 19 lbs...good luck to you0 -
Have I been in here? Can't recall.
Ah well! I'm 5.3 and a halfish, and 153 today. I want to be 135ish. I've got about 18 pounds to go.0 -
I'm not really sure...
I'm 5'4 and weigh 123 lbs but I'm very flabby haha.
112 lbs maybe too low for me, but we'll see.0 -
I'm 5'4" and I've always felt the best around 135. I don't have petite bones, and the lowest I weighed as an adult was about 125-127, but that was when I was not eating due to depression. I don't want to go back to that weight. Keeping it above 130 and below 141 would be perfect for me. Also, it would help to mention age. I'm almost 40. It's harder to maintain a lower weight when you're middle age.0
-
5'4" and my goal is 130. Totally happy at 130 as I've been told I have "child bearing hips" so I'm curvy and would look a little too thin IMO below 130.0
-
I'm 5'2 on a good day. My goal is 120.0
-
5'4 and my goal is to be very fit, toned...healthy. I've gotten really strict with my diet, plus I love to train hard...so if the scale goes up a pound or two, I can be sure it is muscle I'm gaining, because of the difference in the way my clothes fit. I would be satisfied with 130 or 140, but a slightly higher weight also looks good.0
-
I'm 5'4 and weigh 120 right now. I wouldn't mind losing a couple more pounds, but, honestly, I've never cared what I weigh. Usually I look about the same size whether I weigh 115 or 128. Haha I'm just looking to get toned, which will probably make me gain some more!
I see where a lot of people are talking about their goals and how they are curvy. I envy you. Haha I'm not super curvy with or without weight.0 -
I am 5'4" and 53 yrs old.
Depends on your age and body type. I have a very short waist so never under a 7.. even at 112 lbs.
110-118 as a teenage ( athletic build)
118-129 in my 20's (size 7-9) (Post baby's too)
125-140 in my 30's (still a size 7-9) staring to gain weight fast
140-170 then back to 145 in my 40's (back into the 10's)
Now well lets just say I am NOT a size 10 or 12 or even 16..
I need to loose 50 lbs now.. (fat tummy grandma now)0 -
HI, I am 5'3 and I have about 50 lbs to get to my goal weight of 130-135lbs. I have also gotten those comments when I was at 139lbs a few years back, people say your too skinny, you look unhealthy etc. But no im more concerned with gaining muscle and strength this time around.0
