I'm 5'5" and I started this with a goal of 154, because I figured that would only be a few pounds more than when I met my husband at 18 and I didn't think it was realistic to think I could get down any further.... I'm not a teenager any more! Now that I'm 8 pounds away from that first goal, I believe I can go further. Once I get down to 154, I will see how I feel but I am thinking of trying for 144.

I am almost 42 and have shrunk a little so I'm around 5'5" now. My goal is 145. As an adult I've weighed between 105 (severe anxiety and depression - not a good look) to 180 following a pregnancy (also not a good look). In an evil twist of hormone fluctuations, I actually weighed about 170 when I delivered last June, and then gained 10 lbs. while I was breastfeeding - common knowledge states that breastfeeding is actually suppose to help one LOSE weight.

Anyway, I have felt and looked my best in the 128-145 range. When I reach 145, I will determine whether I want to push further. I acknowledge that I may naturally carry a little more weight in my 40s than I did in my 20s and 30s. I am more interested in how I feel and in once again becoming fit and active. I took a 5-10 year sabbatical from exercising, prior to which I ran nightly, did weights, and walked a lot. How the mighty have fallen. It is time to pick up the pieces!

I am 5' 6" and right now I don't have a goal weight..that is a final destination. I have been focused on getting stronger and eating better. I began at 205 a year ago. At present I am 190. I set MFP for a. goal of 180. When that happens. I'll 're-evaluate. I am less focused on the scale than health and fitness goals like holding a plank for a minute, lifting X amount, eating x servings of veggies, etc.

I am 5'6" and my goal is 135. I am an apple shape and that is the maximum weight I can carry before starting to look "fat." Prior to having children that was my steady weight for years. I have a very long haul to get back there but that is my goal.

I'm 54, and 5'6". I wanted to get to 125 because I have weighed that in my younger years. My lowest weight was about 110 before kids, etc. I am currently hovering around 128, and I like where I am. I weighed 146 when I started dieting, and I felt pretty big. My husband says I have a small frame.

Read one of these threads for 5'3" to 5'5", but curious more for my height. I'm almost 5'6", and my goal WAS 155, but according to this site: http://www.rush.edu/rumc/page-1108048103230.html (picked up from other thread) says I should be looking more toward 117-143.

I know that body types vary greatly, but women at my height, what's YOUR goal and how did you choose it?

I'm 5'7 (I know that's a touch taller) I'm aiming for 150 155. I'm athletic and have a large frame and am naturally very muscular, I'm an athlete, it happens. As long as you're happy that's the most important part.

I'm shooting for 190 at the moment. I'm giving myself 2 years to complete since I have over 100LBS to get there. From there, we'll see! I don't think I want to go much below 160 though.

I'm 5'5 and hoping to get to 145 but started at 245 so that would give me a 100lb loss but my ultimate goal weight is probably around 125-130 but kinda depends how I feel and look when I get to 145..currently at about 152

My origional goal weight was 135 (started at 172 or so several years ago). That changed to 125. I have been between 117-127 for several years now. I feel best around 122.

I'm 28 and 5'5" and currently am around 128 pounds. My goal weight is 120 but I'm starting to weight train so I'm not super focused on the number.

I'm 5ft, 6in and my goal weight was 135lbs (what I weighed on my wedding day, 11 years ago).. However, I continued to lose after I started transitioning into maintenance and my weight has stabilized at 125lbs. I'm 34 years old and have three kids, and look and feel the best I ever have :)
