This was our engagement photo and I feel like i'm looking at my guy like he'd make a great appetizer.
I lost some weight but I look like this in our wedding pics
I still look huge. I just wanted to be pretty in a picture0 -

This picture makes me sad because it is supposed to be romantic, and all I can think is "Holy crap I'm so fat!"
I know what you mean, I was my heaviest weight in my wedding pictures. Really I don't think you should let it dampen your memories of your beautiful day. You look wonderful and happy in the photo. Just because you're getting healthy now doesn't mean you have to hate the person you were before.0 -
My original at my heaviest was this one.
Then I lost 10kg's and left MFP thinking I'd be alright on my own and ignored the fact I was no longer exercising until I saw this!
I thought I looked great that night and now I'm just like 'ERGH' haha0 -

Thank you, it was wonderful, and the rest of my pics [mostly] came out fab! Just this one makes me cringe.0 -
I finally bought a hoodie with my friends logo on it to support them. It was an XL, but too small, and I could not for the life of me take a good angle. I look like a box
Edit: Open in new tab to see all the shame. Now including my aunt's messy house!! lol0 -
<---- see my profile pic. That is why i picked it for this profile. at least that's my current wake up call as that was only a few weeks ago. I am at about my highest weight and worse have been there for several months now.0

No thanks, my sister already did it for me. On Facebook, for all the world to see.0

I'm real thick but luckily didn't catch belly fat until i hit around 200 - all in my legs, butt and arms... This woman looks small, do thin women like this really get bellies like that or is this more like baby weight. It seems weird to see only weight in the stomach and no where else.
This is what my belly fat still looks like 10 lbs. from goal weight and a healthy BMI everywhere else is slim. I'm an apple shape and the belly is the last to go.0 -
Mine were all of those from a camp I went to. I was surrounded by thin girls, and the pictures made it even more astounding-looking. Though even before that I knew I was overweight, but still. I'll post them later.0

This is a fascinating thread, and everyone is so brave, but I just don't KEEP crappy photos of me, especially online: I wipe them and hope no one else took a similar photo of me!!!!0

Just found some today, guess every mirror was broken for years and I didn't realize it :grumble:

I'd go on to gain about 10 more pounds, and most of it was in my face, apparently.

These pictures of me last year actually makes me want to cry because I'm so ashamed I got myself into that state.
All the photos of all of the people make me feel such compassion for all of us, because OF COURSE no one wants to look bad or be unhealthy or to lose the best version of them, whether through aging or illness or body condition or whatever. I hope you have compassion for you instead of embarrassment, because of course you had some reasons for living your life in whichever way you did, just like all of us--I think all of the photos are so touching.0 -
bump for later.0

oh my god you're incredible! congrats!0 -
I can't post mine from here, but it's in my profile. And it wasn't really a wake-up call, but it is one that I look back on and go "gah, what happened?" Yes, I am holding my then six-month-old - and I had already lost all the pregnancy weight and then gained it back and then some, so I can't use her as an excuse. I was 10 lbs heavier in that picture than I was right before giving birth. (And that is also her in the current photo. Together we weigh about 20 lbs less than we did in the first one.)0

I'm marking this to go find my fat pictures.0

I agree, this is an impressive transformation. Kudos to you!0 -
Needed a little motivation and dug out some of my more embarrassing "fat pics"...

I haven't posted a single pic of myself yet, but here goes! I was volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and someone sent me photos from the trip. It was a giant slap in the face! Woof. That was 32 pounds ago. I have a long way to go still, but am NEVER going back to this.
