When/if I ever eat bread I look for sourdough. It is slowest glycemic. Hence best
for insulin resistant individuals and best to our waistelines.0 -

Assuming you have no intolerance or metabolic conditions warranting limiting bread, any bread would fit your criteria0 -
White bakery bread that's got the lowest sodium count.0

if i eat bread its a slice of pita0

Ezekiel Bread!0

If I buy bread (not often) it's usually whole wheat pita. Trader Joe's has mini ones (decent for a hearty sandwich though) that are 100 calories each.0

Try Silver Hills Squirrely Bread, it's vegan (no dairy or eggs) and it's wholesome, they have all kinds of different brands but I find this the best of everything out there.) It's 110 calories per slice but I enjoy mine toasted with tomatoes and cucumbers and Veganaise to keep the lunch calories low. Yum!! http://www.silverhillsbakery.ca/0

I grind my flour and make a nice no-knead whole wheat... works best when I screen about half the bran out first.
that said, I rarely have bread because I'd prefer to spend the calories on a bigger bowl of ice cream.0 -
Brownberry sandwich thins. They are 100 calories each. I get the multi grain for sandwiches and the whole grain for toast.0

I make bread in my bread machine every Sunday. I never just make plain white though. Lately I have been making a cranberry-orange bread that I really like and I make a cheese and onion one I really like too. Actually, all of them are very good, the machine is pretty idiot proof so everything I've ever made in it has come out delicious. I never buy commercial bread at the store though other than english muffins occasionally.0

some nice fresh dark Russian or pumpernickel (cursed with living next to a bakery)0

I'll just about eat any kind of bread, but for healthier options I go whole grain like Brownberry 12-Grain, I do love Genesis 1:29 sprout grain. and Mission Whole Grain Tortillas ( I wish these came in a bigger pack)0

I'm a big fan of sour dough...I also really like a good rye. It's hard to get good bread where I live though...too much elevation.0

dave's killer bread, not sure if it's disributed US wide or international yet, but pretty damn awesome. Granted 120 cal/slice on avg too but usually good high fiber and quality ingredients0

I eat a 35 calorie per slice from Aunt Millie's that is also low carb. If not that, always a 12 grain and only one slice.0
-
I eat Flat Out flat breads like they're going out of style.0
-
I like sunflower/flaxseed bread...or Nann bread...flat breads...pitas whole grain of course...nothing white ever0

Nature's Own Honey Wheat or Whole Wheat .....0

Scali Bread.
I used to eat whole wheat, but I decided that was silly if I like Scali better.0 -
I love dark seedy whole grainy breads!0
