    I don't have the science, I'm not sure this has been fully looked into, but considering that nutritional science and research is still ongoing we just dont know everything there is to know about what is a healthy diet. From that, you could conclude that there are likely things missing from supplements, that we only get from diet, that researchers might have missed or just plain not know about. In which case a nutritionally sparse diet with supplementation likely wouldn't give you everything you needed.

    I know people with worse diets. I reckon a healthy (as in non-diebetic, no thyroid problems, no IBS etc) teenager could live very well off this for a while without too much trouble. Biggest problem I can see is that you'd be taking in too many of your calories through sugar and flour, which would eventually catch up on you. Have you read about the guy (I think it was in VICE) who created a beige protein/vitamin goop to live off instead of food?
