Can you lift more than your body weight?

Deadlift: yes. 1RM is probably 1.5 times my weight.
Bulgarian squats: 1.2 times my weight through one leg.
Hack squats: 1RM probably as per deadlift.
Pull ups: I stick a 20kg DB between my thighs.
My party trick is to tell someone I can squat with them on my back then I Bulgarian squat them. Gets a reaction. :-D (The reaction is a combination of awe and panic. ) 0 ) 0

 Yup sure can. Deadlift, BP and Pullups. I'm still fat, though.
On a side note. Who here thinks their still fat after losing a bunch of weight?0

I can pick up my significant other, who is 210lbs.
 /end brag
pssshh that's nothing; I squat and deadlift my girl
Actually, it is something. Considering I have a slight frame ... is your girl like 500 pounds or something bro? Is that why we should be impressed? Ha ha.0

            Yep, on two lifts:
Squat 1RM - 265 (way over bw.....even at my heaviest!)
Deadlift 1RM - 295 (also thankfully way over)
But sadly, not so much on my others:
 Bench 1RM - 115
 OHP 1RM - 100
 Excellent numbers!!!!
So far just on lower body DL/Squat0

well if one is 400pounds I would assume so0

I would assume that lifting more than your bodyweight should be pretty easy for you if you're a healthy male. And a halfway athletic height/weight proportionate woman probably can lift her body weight in squats and deadlift.
My best lift is deadlift and when I was being more consistent with my gym time I was doing about 1.9 X body weight. I can do weighted pull ups and dips, 1.4X BW on squat, 1.2 X BW on bench. These are educated guesses as I don't lift with a spotter and thus don't try to get my 1 rep max. Not great numbers but better than a couch potato.
Interesting thread, there are some really strong people here.0

I'm definitely 'mirin the curls. Also, negative squats, does that mean you like push your body and the weight through the ground? I'm jelly.0
