I always find these posts so interesting...I'm 5'7", 195 pounds, and wear size 12 pants and size L-XL tops (depending on cut/brand/material).0

I was a size 12 and L-XL top. Now I'm 148 and wear size 8 on bottom and Medium top. I am hoping to get down to 135-140.0

When I first start I weighed in at 175 lbs size 13. Now I'm a 12 but I'm at 162 lbs. Trying to get down to 150-140 lbs by the end of this year0 -

I'm surprised myself.
Back in the 80s (ahem) when I weighed 150ish, I wore a 12 or 14. It took getting to the lower 140s to
fit in to a 9/10.
I guess we're supposed to feel better thinking we're in smaller sizes.0 -
When I was 5'7" AND 175 lbs I was a size 12 in pants and large/XL shirts.
I thought I was fat back then.
Oh how wrong I was, hahah.0 -
I'm 5'7
We will all vary depending on body shape.
I have lost 80 lbs of post pregnancy weight.
Before I was pregnant, I weighed 130-135 lb and wore a size 6.
Generally I noticed that with my pear shape:
Sizes are
120-129 = size 4
130-139 = size 6
140-149 = size 8
150-159= size 10
160-169= size 12
170-179= size 14
My goal is to fit into a size 4. I have about 30 lbs to go.0 -
I'm 5'7 and I think a lot of this depends on how much muscle mass you have as well as body shape. when I was 140 about a year or so ago I was wearing a 4-6 or a 7 in juniors.
Now I am around 150-153 and am wearing a 6 and haven't tried the fours because I just haven't. The 7's however still fit. I have noticed this go round with losing I am also lifting heavier weights so I have a little bit more muscle mass than I have before.
I can't really say a certain weight and I'm a certain size. It can vary depending on several variables...0 -
I'm 5'7" -- I am 193 and wear a size 12.0

I'm 5'7", 150 lbs, and I wear size 8-10 comfortably and L tops (I'm big-chested).0

See this is what I don't understand. Most people my weight (171 atm) seem to be a size 12, 10....well I'm a 16. I can fit into a 14 but I get muffin top. WTH. It's very frustrating.
I'm with you. At my highest (about 155) I was a 12 and those fit quite tight. Now I'm at about 142 and I'm still at a 10 (or some 8s but only in skirts, not pants). The lowest I've ever been was 121 (I lost the weight bc I was sick and I was totally skinny fat) and I still was no lower than a 6 in pants. I'm pear shaped but my measurements are 36-27.5-40.
I'm in this club too. 155 and a 10 to 12 on bottom, medium to large on top. To wear a size 8 to 10 I've got to go down to mid 130s, and then I look gaunt and older than my age. Reading this thread has been discouraging. I mean, I knew I wasn't going to look amazing - too much excess skin for that - but I guess I also must look heavier than my actual weight to boot. :frown:0 -
I am 5"7 and 204lbs. I am very hippy so I wear a 14 which is fitting on me.0

I'm 5'7'', 75 kg (about 165 lbs) and I wear L blouses, and pants in size 40-42 euro size (12-14 US if the conversion I used is good)0
