Congratulations, I agree with what you say. It is a mental thing, and knowing how your body works is vital. Keep up the good work.

Congrats. I rarely comment on pictures of other guys, but that is quite a positive change.

Now consider shaving the chest and back hair. Will streamline the look even more.

Great job! Congratulations. Your journey is the one I should be on. I have about the same numbers, but am old enough to be your father. Your success has been an inspiration to me to get off my *kitten* and get going. It may take me a bit longer, but I can get there too. Thanks for being a great motivator for others.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I really appreciate them and you have made my day.
    Amazing amazing amazing.

I've clearly run out of ways to tell you how much you rock so ill just repeat it over and over haha. Your dedication and progress is so inspirational and motivates me every time I see it. You look SO good. The message you are trying to convey is also really important - the fact that we can't expect perfection from ourselves and the fact that its a PROCESS. I really need to remember that at times as well. You have been so strong to get through the times you've been down - don't think that goes unnoticed. Keep up the excellent work. It is an honour to have been a part of your fitness journey so far and I'm excited to see how far you can go with this.

Congratulations Daniel, keep it up :)
I legitimately love you Quel. <3 Your progress is an inspiration to me too.. And I would be nowhere without your friendship. Thank you.
You look great!! And much younger too! Can you tell us what you did??? Any specific workouts??

    Thank you! :)

For the first 4 months (September - December) I didn't work out at all. Simply calculated my daily caloric needs, made sure I was eating at a deficit, and just drank a ****load of water and ate as healthy and clean as I could.

In January, I began at the gym. For January -> March I did just random workouts and random splits at the gym. As someone who had never lifted before, I was really just guessing.

In March I started Strong Lifts. Best decision I ever made. I did that for about 2 months or so.. And then I started Kris Gethins 12 week trainer from www.bodybuilding.com

Since then, I have had a back injury and am currently fighting through a wrist injury.. So my lifting progress has slowed down unfortunately.

Any other specific questions, please let me know.

    I should also state that:

In those first 4 months without incorporating exercise I lost 40 pounds
Both the back and wrist injuries are from hockey. Not lifting :p

My absolute goal with this post is to inspire and help people with their journeys and their goals.

Whether you have basic questions like how to calculate your caloric needs, food related questions, workout questions.. or have any suggestions or tips for me.. anything.. PLEASE message me. I am more than happy to help and listen!

    Thanks <3
