50 pounds down

So I started my weight loss journey on January 7th of this year and on July 22nd, I finally hit 50 pounds lost. I started at 371 pounds and I'm now at 320.

It's been a lot of hard work (this is probably the hardest thing I've done in my life) but it's worth it already. I feel better already!

Thank you everyone. It means a lot to me. It was a very big and hard step to take but I'm already noticing health problems improving and my family and friends have been nothing but supportive.

    Great job! :flowerforyou:
  • Wow, great work! I see a difference between the two pics. Mind if I ask how many calories you eat a day and for how long you exercise? I'm just starting out here and my biggest challenge is the exercise.

Thanks so much for all the positive feedback guys. As for what I do... I eat 1500 calories and keep my goals for carbs and protein at both 45% of my daily calories and fat 10%. I work out five times a week for half an hour. I do strength training and run on the elliptical and use the stationary bike. Sometimes I play Just Dance for the Wii. I have bad days, but if I do I get back on the horse. No giving up for me! I welcome friends and I do share my diary with my friends so you can get an idea. I'm also very supportive. :)

Wow, there's a lot of difference between these photos so I suspect you've lost loads of inches too! I'd never guess you were +300lbs in either of the photos.

Well done to you on your journey :flowerforyou:
