I often check my weight various days of the week, however the only one that I log is on Monday am.0

Twice a day, once before I pass a bowel movement and once after
Cause you know... I just have to know0 -
There is no right answer. Its all about what works for you.0

If you can see it as collecting data, and are interested in linking up things like how much water you retain the day after you ate some pizza, or how your weight fluctuates with your cycle, and you DON'T see each weigh-in as a moral triumph or failure, then you should weigh every day.
If you don't care about data but just want an idea of what you weigh, then once a week.
If you freak out every time you go up .2 lbs, you should throw the scale away and use a measuring tape instead.
There really isn't a "right" way, there's just the way that works for you.0 -

When on a cut: 1/2 pound
When on a bulk: ~10 pounds0 -

i cant be bothered with all that stepping on a scale and whatnot...
so i just poo on my food scale. much more accurate too.0 -
It really depends on what kind of person you are. I like taking it daily at the same time of day and watching it fluctuate. However, that drives some people nuts because you could gain a few pounds in a day just drinking more water or not going to the bathroom. I find the ups and downs of daily interesting (as long as the long-term is downward) but it drives some people crazy.
So if it would drive you crazy, check weekly. If you like collecting data, daily. If you're insane, five times a day! :-)0 -
I weigh myself once a week, Friday am before eating or exercising. Your weight can vary from day to day and hour to hour just from water weight. I would pick one day of the week and keep it consistant.0

I weigh in at least once a day. Every morning I check just to make sure I didnt eat to much the day before. I have been critized for this a number of times, but it works for me. Lately I have been checking at night before bed as well.0

It sounds very unsanitary to "go" on the actual scale...0

Everyday. Keeps me reminded to keep up the good work0

I weigh myself between each set to see how many pounds of muscle I am gaining.0

ROTFL!!!!!0 -
I weigh every day, but I can see the benefit of just doing it once a week... I'm just not that patient.0

I weigh every day because I like to see what affects my weight from the previous day, I then take the average number for that week and log that number into MFP.0

Typically cattle are only weighed when they go up for auction. Even then they can be sold in groups and it's just an estimated weight. They just average them up per head.

I weigh every couple of days and log it on MFP every Friday.0

Who's 'some people'? YOU can decide how often YOU should weigh yourself. I weigh daily, personally. Only log it on MFP every Friday.0 -
I weigh myself on Monday and Thursday, but I only log the weight on Thursday. It keeps me in check and I use it as a motivational tool. Just don't let yourself get discouraged if it goes up every once in a while!0

Usually once every other week. Unless it's the last couple of days before my period, then I avoid it all together because I always bloat pretty badly then.
The average human's body weight fluctuates up or down a couple of pounds during the day, so I don't see a reason to check weekly when I'm set to lose one pound a week. I may have lost a pound of fat, but fluctuations could make me read as if I hadn't, or even gained. I don't need that kind of confusion in my life.0 -
I weigh daily. If you do weigh that often though, you have to be willing to see some increases that you don't deserve.0
