Congratulations on your success. I'm very interested in your method as well. When the prospect of bariatric surgery was presented to me, I asked why I couldn't just pretend that I had gone under the knife and eat that amount. I heard how I would destroy my metabolism and it wouldn't be possible to maintain that, etc. It just seems like a pack of lies to me... I don't see how some incisions and stitches really makes the giant calorie deficit more healthy. I also can't accept that we, must eat 1200 calories or face certain doom, when in many parts of the world they live just fine on much less.

I'm glad to see you did not do the surgery.

So, as someone who DID opt for Bariatric Surgery -- you failed to mention that having gastric bypass also bypasses the hunger receptors in your stomach.... You've done an amazing thing all while still feeling that hunger. I know how hard it was for me and I was NEVER hungry the first 18 months. This is amazing. Unbelievable. Inspiring. :flowerforyou:

My jaw dropped - awesome determination & focus on your part! I made notes from your post, you are inspiring. What foods were you eating for your daily "real meals"?
