Not losing....with Insanity!

Hi I'm on day 5 too early to say what will happen but looking for support! I'm 45, fat and unfit - Insanity may kill me!! I cant do lots of the exercises but try to do an alternative and keep moving! I'm wrecked after and walking downstairs impossible. Any support or tips greatly received! ps I had a sneak on the scales and gained 3lbs0

Insanity is all about "building muscle" therefore you NEED to consume a lot of calories to see progress. As everyone has said before me. If you're trying to lose weight fast the program isn't for you. If you're trying to build your body from flab into muscle, it's what its designed for. I started on it, and decided i would stick to cardio until I got to a more...acceptable weight. It wasn't the most difficult thing I've done, but in combination with having to move everything around in my living room to make room and not seeing a lot of progress it wasn't the right thing for me.0
