used to be? I dated a guy recently who was 315 pounds and I'm 123 pounds. So, I dated him while he was heavy. Its more about personality to me.
It is for me too but I'm just curious if people really react differently to people when they find out they used to be overweight.
Used to be is no more different than is, to me. *shrugs*
More people should be like you! Lol

That would make absolutely no difference to me. Plus, it'd be a bit hypocritical, considering I've been overweight myself before.
Even if my bf gained weight now, I wouldn't mind...It'd make him more cuddly, anyway. Muscles are nice, but it can be like cuddling a brick wall
Haha I have to disagree...Muscles here and I'm quite comfortable, I promise :P
I have to agree here. I went on a date with a guy over the weekend who used to compete and had nice muscles AND gave nice hugs, too. Definitely not at all like a brick wall.0 -
Interesting question. Me personally I like girls of all sizes so it wouldn't bother me. I can think of a lot of other things that would stop me from dating them than their previous weight.0

You must have fluffier muscles, I suppose...lol0 -

(Though I agree. I've dated some pretty muscular men and they were no less cuddly than fluffier men.)0 -

that's silly. The guy I went on the dates with is a personal trainer and is pretty solid and still was able to give nice hugs.0 -

Only the fluffiest and most comfortable muscles there are...come and see for yourself0 -
Oh course not! Because overweight people are not human or anything, ya know?0

You may be taking my statements a little too literally...lol0 -

Aight, but when you get tired of cuddling Mr. Bricks give me a call. I'd like to redeem the cuddling capability of muscles in your eyes, nomsaying?0 -

Hah no I have not cuddled with myself recently0 -
Of course I would...someone's past, especially if it only has to do with their physical appearance, shouldn't dictate a current relationship.
Most people you date it ends up being about who they are as a person. Not saying that they cease to be attractive to me, but I don't care as much.0 -
Why not? I used to be fat. Who am I to judge?0

My wife says my stomach is cuddly...then again, I have extra padding surrounding my muscles0 -
Yes I would... You're dating the person's present and future, not their past.
I wish this was completely true.
lol but it is true! I was getting to know a very cute guy who was apparently obese all his life, but he was ripped when we met. Fall out happened not because of weight issues but because I had a child.0 -
Used to be? Absolutely. There's a bond in that sort of struggle. I used to be fat, too. As long as he/she has learned his/her lesson about it all. I could never date someone who was obese and okay with it or didn't want to change their lifestyle for fear that I would fall back into it. Also, I need a good candidate for a daddy for my future kids or partner, someone who'll stick around for a long time.0
