50 seconds today, the same as yesterday. I could do longer, but I'm going to aim for consistency.

I'm in, too! I used to be able to hold a plank all day long...I'll be lucky to do 20 seconds now. I'm excited to get it back.

I think the actual record for holding a plank is slightly over 3 minutes.

    I tried and failed.
    Can't hold more than 2-3seconds
So I did 10 of them..
Tell me ill get better if I try everyday?

You WILL get better if you try every day. You are approaching this the right way - 10 sets of 2-3 seconds will soon become 5 sets of 6, 2 sets of 15 and so on until you are holding just one set for the duration. Just keep doing your bit every day; you'll get there.

edit: "I tried and failed." - NO! you didn't fail because you TRIED!

Ok everyone loves a good PLANK right!!!!!!!!!!!! Well join me for this 30 day Plank challenge!!!!!!!!
I'll post the daily workouts weekly and we can get through this together!!!!!!! WHO'S IN????????

    DAY 1

    20 SEC

    DAY 2

    20 SEC

    DAY 3

    30 SEC

    DAY 4

    30 SEC

    DAY 5

    40 SEC

    DAY 6

    REST (CATCH UP)

    DAY 7

    45 SEC

I do planks most every day and done so for the last 20 months. I started at 1 minute, and have worked my way to 2, but 90 seconds is good enough most days. I still find the side planks much harder and haven't been able to progress beyond 45-50 seconds, which probably should tell me something.

^This^ Side planks are much harder because they only use stabilitzing muscles. I mean, how often do you really use your obliques? I have dificulty with them too, but it is worth it because side planks work an entirely different set of musculature.
