    Durian

this makes me think of anthony bourdain in Indo. yummy.

mine's probably an earth worm. as like a 14 y/o middle schooler, was dared to eat one. didn't really taste like anything, went down like a noodle.
i think i'm fairly adventurous, but have a very poor palette, due i think to my super bad sense of smell - i just don't like super hot additions to food. it just causes me pain and does nothing for the taste of the food but mask it.

    Shark, it was yummy

Me and my friends use to play blender surprise.it is where you go through the fridge taking a spoon full of this and that adding it to the blender then mix it all up and dare each other to drink it. I really dont know what was in it sometimes good and sometimes not, keep in mind we were in jr high and high school, rotfl
  • Frog legs. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't really look like frog legs. I just imagined them hopping happily in a field somewhere. I only took a nibble because I was curious.

Pickled baby octopus! I don't really think it's that weird since I love seafood but most of my friends were unimpressed with the picture of it.

Probably escargot and frogs legs... Wasn't fussed on the snails but the frogs legs were nice... Not exactly filling though unless you had a small bucket of them. LOL

BBQ snake and deep fried tarantulas in Cambodia.

Not a lot of meat on a snake, and too many small bones.

Being a world traveler, nothing is too shocking anymore.

Scorpian on a stick in China
    Fish Balls in Hong Kong
    Haggus in Scotland
    Chicken Feet in Taiwan
    Whitebait in New Zealand

Have caught squid, octopus, and abalone to eat.

At a food festival I tired Kangaroo, horse (not pretending to be beef for once) and zebra burgers. I think Kangaroo was the nicest.

Haha, as far as I can remember they didn't taste that bad, must have been the huge amount of garlic butter they have used

I'm pregnant so I'm eating some truly strange combinations but I haven't gone as far as some of you have

Chicken heart kebabs and solidified duck blood (not together, obviously).

    Solidified duck blood!
    Why? Was it good? O.o

No, it was disgusting. I was at dinner in China and a Chinese friend's mum gave it to me so I couldn't say no (I ate so many disgusting things for this reason). It dissolves in your mouth. Yuck.

Chicken heart tastes amazing! Especially in soups. Been a fan of it since I was very little :D

Balut. There's a guy who sells them at the park right next to us. Pretty good. Tastes like the yellow part of a soft boiled egg (makes sense). A little strange and I probably won't do it again, but at least I can say I did try it!
