Well, I would certainly hope no one but my doctor would say that to me! At least, "tactfully" ask if I'm Preggers. Don't just say, "Your fat!"
If it did happen, I would promptly burst into tears and run sobbing out of the room! Make them feel 2 feet tall so they don't ever ask anyone again! LOL
If it's a child, I would explain tearfully that I am working on it while glaring at the parent who should have taught them better!
It is something in me, for those who have said that! I have always been fat. It will ALWAYS be a struggle in my life, a painfully emotional struggle! I don't need some narcissitic a**hole to point it out. It isn't all right at all to say that to anyone unles you are a doctor or a personal trainer and they are PAYING for your opinion! :grumble:0 -
Works EVERY TIME! well, almost every time....well, sometimes.....ok crap...that doesn't work!0 -

I was actually told that when i went back home just after having my daughter. I had already warned all my relatives and friends not to call me "Overweight" , but there were a few who missed the warning.
The first one was a colleague (guy), meeting me and my hubby along with his new wife for the first time and he says as soon as we meet " You have put on sooooooo much weight " and i just found it too funny.. I ignored him
Second time a distant relative actually imitated an elephant to obviously state i had put on weight , i just walked past him.
I seriously dont even care for such comments or people. I lose weight for myself, not anybody else!0 -

You sure know how to make me feel pretty!0

Yep. I'm fun in bed too. I read, I game, and I have a penchant for expensive vibrators and bisexual orgy-porn. Any other random personal facts about me you want to discuss?
^^^^^^WINNING!
My response:
"You're sh!tting me, REALLY??? I totally didnt see that, thanks!"0 -
That may be, but I can always lose weight, but you my friend.... There is no magic pill to cure you being an *kitten*.
I busted up laughing when I read this! My BF's mom once asked me how I was doing, and I said "Tired." I had had 3 hours of sleep in as many days. She said, "Well, that's because you're overweight."
My reply: "Yes, I'm sure it has more to do with my weight than lack of sleep. You must be EXHAUSTED. How do you do it?"
For small children: I have taught my nieces and nephew to use "fluffy" or "soft" as a description. Like a pillow.
I love your response to your BF's Mom.... I hope I remember that when I need to!0 -
Just one time, "yes, which unattractive trait of yours would you like me to point out?"0
-
Say, "Thank you very much" and the SLAP THE HELL out of them!0
-
Say yes if you are; say no if you are not.
If you feel insulted because you're overweight then the problems lies within yourself.
Well aren't you a bucket full of sunshine0 -
I would do exactly what this guy does...shirtless and all.

"You're ugly, I can always lose weight." And give them the WTF look. Meh.0

no one has actually ever called me overweight to my face, but this is how I would react0 -
"Thank you. I used to be obese."

I freakin love this! Always makes me crack up.0 -
Usually my mom always always says that. I dont know why. I am skinny. But when I go visit them my mom says, you are so fat....
that may also explain all my various issues0 -
If I am overweight and someone says it, I say, "Yes, yes I am."0

"I'm preparing to hibernate for the winter."0

You take it (or rather i take it) with humor. A fact is a fact and if i can't laugh about it than i would be a very sad person. p.s..... .omg soooo many good pictures on here, i'm laughing so hard. this is giving me idea's for the next times people call me fat. The only thing i do now is react with sarcasm and be like: "oh really? I didn't notice." or "OMG I AM?! when did this happen?" you know... haha.

If that dog was a doberman, this would be me at that age! Right from the expression, attitude, the appearance, everything.0 -
Ask "Where?"0
-
YEAH, Me and yo Momma!
Win!0 -
I have noticed that too0

Obviously. But more importantly, I'm friendly, funny, intelligent, passionate, and happy with myself. If my weight concerns you so much that you feel the need to point it out to me, then you must not have any of that going for you!0
