There is no E in whisky.
My favorite whisky is Booker's or Knob Creek. Depends on my mood. Tonight I am in the mood for Booker's and a La Gloria Cubana Cigar.0 -
Fireball is a whiskey Liqueur, kinda like southern comfort... fine until you turn 16! lol0 -
This goes down WAY too easy!!0 -
Whiskey---Jameson
Neat, please :bigsmile:0 -

I don't sip on it, I take it in shot form. I like it because it tastes good- and yes, it goes down easy, which is a must for a shot (for me). I'm not hardcore enough to actually sip on the "real" stuff. Haha.0 -
I also enjoy the Fireball. YUM
And, in a related story, I just tried the Crown Royal Maple........OH HELL YES.
But nothing will ever replace my love of John.......0 -
aren't bourbon and scotch both whiskey?
so i think this is a trick question....
regardless, I like the Gentlemen Jack. I like Crown, I like Wild Turkey and Johnny Walker (all colors of labels)
But I will drink most anything. It's not like I'm a snob
My understanding is that Bourbon is distilled once, Scotch is Distilled twice and Whiskey is distilled 3 times.
Me, being Irish, i would only ever choose Whiskey. Jamesons or Bushmills0 -

When refering to Irish Whiskey, it does have an E in it. I believe it is just scotch and bourbon that get called 'whisky'0 -
Jameson!! I got to go to the distillery in Dublin this summer and had Jameson and Ginger for breakfast and shots after the tour for lunch!
It is a great place isn't it!! Did you go up to the guiness storehouse as well? Amazing sky bar there. I did them both in one day, got totally hammered, best girlie weekend break ever!0 -

My husband and I had a blast going to both. :drinker: Guinness tastes soooooo much better in Dublin. There was even a taste difference between London and Dublin?? Then back to the States? Or maybe that was just in my head?:laugh:0 -

There is definately a taste difference!! If it isnt poured (or stored) correctly that really affects the taste. I live in England but wont touch the stuff here, I wait til i go back home to have some (I am Irish )0 -

Primarily maker's mark, but Jameson if I'm taking shots! Or if I'm drinking guinness... they just go together.
Maker's sour is a regular entry into my diary! :drinker:0 -
Whisky - Pendleton, opened with just one or two ice cubes (at home) or "up" if I'm out.
Scotch - Johnny Walker Green (or Blue, if I'm feeling particularly fancy). No ice, just poured straight into a rocks glass.
Not so much for the bourbon... but I'll have some Hendrick's Gin or Tito's Vodka, please.0 -

Thank you for bringing some sense to this party. Just like there's no sex in the champagne room, there's no E in whisky. Bleeeergh.0 -
