Smells like burning hell and seaweed. Taste is amazing.

And has the power to clear a room in the blink of an eye.

aren't bourbon and scotch both whiskey?

so i think this is a trick question....

regardless, I like the Gentlemen Jack. I like Crown, I like Wild Turkey and Johnny Walker (all colors of labels)

But I will drink most anything. It's not like I'm a snob

I think lush is the word you're looking for

    Yes. All of them.

Love me a good single malt (when I have the $$$) but I can sip on Jameson regularly.

Whiskey - I'm a fan of Tellamure Dew, it's tasty easy drinking!
Bourbon - love SO MANY it's hard to choose! Blantons is super delicious, as is Jeffersons Reserve and so many others!
Scotch - Haven't picked a favorite here, have sampled around a good bit though. The Glenlivits and Glenfiddiches are usually good!

Nothing in the world beats a good single malt. I like to have a few in rotation. Tonight it's this:

    ardbeg.jpg

It's wonderful. But also evil. 54.2%, beautifully warm but also harsh and scratchy. Like drinking flavoursome, full-bodied razor blades. In a good way.

Love the way you described this!! I want to try it just to experience the full-bodied razor blades!

I drink all of the above but I'm a newb to Scotch.

I'm partial to malted scotch but I've only had a couple: LaPhroiag and Glenfiddich. I've had Yamazaki's but didn't think it was anything special.

Bulleit Frontier Whiskey kicks *kitten*. I think Maker's Mark is ok. Evan Williams Cherry Cask when I want to mix with soda or ginger ale.

I get my To Do list from Whiskey.FindtheBest.com. If I'm drinking by myself at home I tend to drink cheaper stuff.

There is no E in whisky.

you're partially right. The spelling is dependent on the country of origin. If the country of origin has an E in its name ie: United Stated, Ireland...then it is spelled whiskey. If the country of origin does not have an E in its name ie: Canada, Scotland... then it is spelled whisky
I see! Being in Montana, a great deal of the whisky/whiskey brands that I see are Canadian.

Has anyone tried Coldcock Herbal Whisky?

I am going to the Rockstar Festival this weekend, and they're sponsoring it. It looks interesting (nothing of terrific quality by the looks of the bottle / branding)

I can't imagine it being any good, but if there are free samples I won't say no lol just wanna make sure it isn't god awful
