THANK YOU!!! I have been trying to figure out what the heck NSV means for way too long!

Kind of important.. NSFW (Not Safe For Work)

Thanks for this .. I wish I had know about it as I did question many of these (luckily Google did deliver for most of them for me).

I don't know if DH (dear husband ... or darn husband as the case may be) and DW, DS, DD warrant being included. I have seen them used (and questioned) on the forums here and elsewhere :)

If I were to copy and post this on my blog (I really don't have much a readership, it would be more for my reference) ... would that be ok OP?

    Also to add:

SL5x5 (or plain SL) = StrongLifts 5x5 - a strength training problem stressing compound lifts - squat, deadlift, bench press, barbell row and overhead press.

This should be on the page when you first set up your account.

Ok, people, read the OP and show the love!
  • Thanks for this. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out acronyms from context, but I'm new here and couldn't figure out NSV.

Thank you! I've adopted DH (for Dear Husband) from my crafting blogs.
  • Thank you for your time and effort. Also, I agree with the person who said,
"This should be on the page when you first set up your account".

Yes, I've heard(and used) DH for Dear Husband. Naturally it would follow:
DW - Dear Wife (though I can see the conflict with Dead Weight)
    DD - Dear Daughter
    DS - Dear Son
    DSD - Dear Step Daughter
    DSS - Dear Step Son

Welcome!
