I just cannot make myself eat an egg straight out of a chicken's butt!
Must buy my eggs from the store after they get processed!!
YES I KNOW ALL EGGS COME OUT OF A CHICKENS BUT, SO SUE ME I'M WEIRD!!!!
They actually come out of a chicken's vagina, if that helps.
Actually NO that does not help!!!
But God made the Cloaca. He does nothing wrong.
Never said it was wrong
I'm just weird and......
BACON!!!0 -
Either, because both are darned cheap.0
-
Why would I buy eggs? They're free to me because I have my own Chickens!0
-
I don't like eggs.
Oooh oooh oooh!
In for egg's are just a chicken's period!
Who remembers THAT comment??

I have called them chicken abortions since I was younger...
$4.00 a bit to much of a mark-up for me. Especially when I would have to clean them and check them before using them after going out of my way to pick them up... Rather pay the .99 at the store while shopping for other groceries. Plus, we eat way to many dang eggs for $4 a dozen.
ETA: Some "l"s because I have to slam my "l" key for it to work evidently.0 -
I've seen too many movies about horrid conditions for chickens on farms - I buy the $4.00 organic or local eggs at the grocery store. I'd get them from a farmer if I had time/opportunity.
organic eggs come from chickens that live in horrid conditions too...the USDA organic designation doesn't have any "treat the chickens nicely" provisions0 -
Bacon.
Only right answer so far0 -
Neither. I would pay the $3.59 for the egg beaters because I do not eat yoke and have been eating egg beaters longer than I can remember.0

-

-
Grocery store. But I too am cheap...0
-
I just wanted to express my opinion.0
-
Unless the farmer is only using his kind words and gentle touches with the chickens, I'm getting them from the grocer.0
-
I wish we had a farmer up the road! Our farmer market doesn't supply eggs either.:ohwell:0

Our farmer has Asia records!0

The same logic can be applied to clothing. Do you buy the $12 shirt from Pakistan or the $40 shirt from the locally made vendor. Quality or quantity?0
-
Farmers.
I used to have chickens for eggs. The taste difference is worth the extra money.0 -
