Holy crap, that's absolutely amazing! Not only do you look fantastic, but you have accomplished an amazing feat with your running. Seriously inspirational! I have kind of aspired to run a half marathon someday, assuming that I would never be able to do a full marathon, but now that I read your story I'm thinking of aiming a little higher Way to go!!!
p.s. I have that same dress from Ricki's haha0 -

Wow thank you everyone so much for your kind words!
For everyone who commented that they are starting out, whatever you do, don't quit. You're not going to love running after a few weeks or even months. It REALLY does take time and for the first little while you just have to pretend that you love it.
I can honestly say that the most difficult part of this whole process was learning to run 5km because at that point you don't know what you're capable of. Once you can run 10km and beyond it's really more of a mental challenge than anything else. I live by the phrase "I don't stop when I'm tired, I'll stop when I'm done" and have probably repeated it to myself literally thousands of times over the last 7 months. You have it in you, you just have to believe it first.0 -
You ate incredible! I've only been running for 3 weeks and I notice a difference every time. Congrats on the amazing accomplishment!!!!!0

Amazing. Great story - so inspirational! I've been running for over 2 years now, and I don't have the mental/physical determination to run a full marathon! Way to go! And you look great, too! :drinker:  :flowerforyou:0

I love your story. I was 226 and a yoyo, too! Then I discovered running! I love it and have lost down to 174. Training for my first half. When do I get skinny and fit like you? Lol. You look amazing.0

You are such an inspiration! Congratulations! I love to run too and had just reached the 5K point before I got pregnant with baby #4. I'm just starting on my journey again (though not able to run yet). Thanks for sharing your story!0
-
Wow!! That is amazing! Good for you! Where did you find your motivation? Congrats!!!!:happy:0

That is awesome. I have a similar story, lost 75 and ran a couple marathons. Had knee surgery, got lazy and put 50 back on. Now I have taken it off and will run my 5th marathon on October 20th.
Great Job!0 -
Amazing transformation. Great job! Thanks for inspiring me today.0

Maybe I can too...I used to only run if there was a soccer ball in front of me or an escaping horse. That was a while ago and I'm 213 lbs. and 5'6" now. But maybe I can too...
Thanks for the inspiration0 -
"I don't stop when I'm tired, I'll stop when I'm done" - Love this...I may adopt it as my new running mantra...
Huge congratulations to you - your story is truly inspiring!0 -
Congrats and you are my hero I also started running in my journey to lose weight and have fallen in love with the alone time, the healthy weight loss, and the stress relief of it all!!!!!! I'm not at your marathon level, but I can follow in your footsteps and continue on my path and hope to be where you are in the future You've done an amazing job!0
