I'm saving this too! I wonder if honey in place of the sweetener would be good even if it increases the calorie count. I think they would make an amazing breakfast sandwich to put cooked egg whites, etc. on. Thanks for sharing this!

Has anyone used these as bun substitutes, like say for a burger? I'm skeptical about the sweetener if I'm using them for burgers. Thoughts?

And do they have a really egg-y taste? I don't think I could handle "bread" that tasted like an overcooked omelette.

    OP, thanks for sharing.

I've made various versions of these over the last couple of years. If you want a more savory type of roll just leave the sweetener out and add garlic in it's place.

I made a batch with ground cumin, corriander, garlic, salt and crush pepper and used them for southwest turkey burgers. They hold up great and taste amazing. My husband was AMAZED that they worked as well as they did. I haven't bought buns in years! If you make long skinny ones they work for brats too!

    Hello,

I thought I'd share the low carb cloud bread recipe I've found online. Here it is:

    Ingredients:

    - 3 large eggs (separated whites and yolks)
    - 120g 0% Fat Fage Yoghurt (original recipe suggests cream cheese e.g. Philadelphia)
    - 1 tsp sweetener (e.g. Splenda)
    - 0.25 tsp cream of tartar

I usually use fat free cream cheese and they come out wonderful too.

Can someone tell me if I decided to do the cream-cheese version instead of the yogurt, is it an equal swap? And should I soften the cream cheese first?
