I wanted a trampoline SO BAD! I saved up all my birthday money, and had enough to buy it before tax… my mom flat out refused to give me the tax for it, because I'm sure she didn't want me to have it. Never did get that tramp… to this day i LOVE to TRAMP!!! I tramp any chance I get.

Moon shoes. There was also a Frankenstein doll that you got tools with and could work on his chest. I actually saw it at a yard sale a few years ago and got it even though I didn't play with it

    And a NES

My cousins had one  My brother and I got a GameBoy in 89, but that's the ONLY console my parents ever got us. Since living on my own I've had a PS2, a Wii and my current love the PS3

They are super easy to build. I made some in middle school.

I know now- but back then it was all magic to me. Well, we built our own fun some other way: roller blades/inline skates + open, solid umbrella in a storm on an empty road, anyone? :DD Seriously one of the best experiences in my life. Ah, childhood...

I longed for one of these as a child. Bought the modern day version for one of my kids and it turned out to be a crushing disappointment in shattered expectations.

That's because the Snoopy one was way better! :)

A piano. Somehow, an organ ended up in our living room. It was large and ugly, and could not even compare to a piano. I STILL have a secret desire to get a piano and take lessons! :ohwell:

Do it! You're never too old. And you can always start on a keyboard.

    POW-POW-POWER WHEELS!

But all in all I was a very fortunate child with loving parents who did their best. I was just not a child on wheels.

BOTH my boyfriend and I were deprived... we've already said our future kids will have one!..lol

A baby brother or sister. I know, weird kid, right?

Being a single child with divorced parents & my dad being "well-off", I never lacked in the toy/food/item department. But I never got that little sibling. So, needless to say, I have two kids so that they don't lack that.

I can detect a certain north of england approximately near 50 similarity going on here.
Tell me when you really really really wanted the full action man paratrooper and german stormtrooper uniforms
did your mum say "don't work I'll knit you some clothes for him"

How can you dominate / save the world / bedroom with chunky knit orange jumpers and matching slacks?

A pony. We were a family of six living in London in a little terraced house with a 50 foot garden and I couldn't understand why my parents wouldn't turn the shed into a stable.

    Ha!
well I did play action man quite a allot, and we did make clothes for it too.
My Mum & sister were good at that stuff - I made an action man sleeping bag - I still have it and use it to keep plant labels in - in the greenhouse!

    Cheers to ya :)
