    I didn't think I was going to lose at all this week so when I stepped on the scale just now and saw that I broke 128, I was so pleased! I missed my mini goal by .4 but hey, I'm still happy and clearly on the right track!

    I did do the challenge this week...I tried spaghetti squash! It was delicious and I will certainly be making it more this fall and winter!

    Just got to get over the hump and then its almost the weekend!

    I was so happy when I saw that this morning! 9.4 lbs left. I think I can do it with 8 weeks left! I didn't try a new food :( I couldn't think of anything...well not anything I wanted to try :blushing:

    Looks like I'll have to adjust my goal. Your challenges must stick with my subconscious, I seem to do them without realizing it :laugh: I tried spaghetti squash for the first time this past weekend, and actually really liked it. Woohoo - one more veggie to add to the mix.

    if anyone wants to do a challenge this weekend, it is: TO FIND A CAUSE YOU BELIEVE IN AND DONATE $5. i will post the challenge on thursdays after the weigh-in. it will be a random idea and you can chose to participate or not. if you do, have fun knowing that you helped make a difference! :)

    Sorry guys about not posting. I don't remember what happened last week but this week was a migraine plus my electronic scale got wet and took a couple of days to dry off. I'll find my #'s & post (PM post tho - so not totally accurate) in a few.

    i've noticed that you've had a bad couple of weeks with migraines, a fight with your boyfriend, the miscarriage... it can be hard to keep going but you can do it. i can relate to your feelings a little bit. i started running last year in may and eating 1300 calories (under a doctor's supervision) and i didn't lose a SINGLE POUND until november. it was so frustrating. i wanted to cry. but i kept it up and lost one pound in december and one pound in january and one pound in february and one pound in march. it was going sooooo slooooow. in april, my body 'woke up' and started dropping weight more regularly and now i am down 20+ pounds. keep going.

    one suggestion is to go get a check up from your doctor and have them perform a hormone/estrogen test. most of my weight gain/lack of wieght loss came from pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome). starting medication for that and eating low carb (25% carbs, 30% fat and 45% protien) has really helped me.

    Please don't give up. When I gained over ten pounds in just two weeks I was frustrated, embarraseed and disgusted with myself. I was too embarrased to face my freinds on mfp for close to a month. When I mustered up the courage to come back to my support group on this thread they welcomed me backand gave me the encouragement/inspiration I needed to move forward again. I can't say I've had it as rough as you but I can testify to the great support I've seen on mfp. You have some freinds here that really care about you. Hang in there and give yourself some time to recover.

    I know its frustrating but don't give up. I'm sure at least 2lbs are water weight and you still have 8 weeks left! You can do it. Just don't stress and focus on eating well. We are all here to help you along.
