CONGRATS, CONGRATS, CONGRATS!!!!!!!! Despite the negativity on a positye post I want to take the time to tell you Good Job and keep up the good work!!!! I see a major change in your mid-section. to each her own. You do what works for best for you and don't worry about what anyone else have to say. I also do not agree with eating back calories and there is not much convincing.

THANK YOU. this is def what I needed after all of these comments. "helping' me or not, they still felt harsh.

First, great job! The 24 day challenge is not easy.

Advocare is probably one of the best supplement programs out there today in my humble opinion. I am not one for supplements but I looked into it deeply and I just can't afford it. They actually have their own laboratory where they test all of their products for quality and if I remember correctly, they use nutrition specialists and PhD's in nutrition sciences to formulate their products (correct me if I'm wrong). The 24 day challenge provides the essential vitamins and nutrients you may not be getting from changing your diet and you do eat real food on it, a lot of greens.

I am not a distributor either. It is just one of the very few supplement programs I've ever been impressed with. I wish I could use their vitamins.

If you are going to post something like this then the first thing everyone is going to look at is your food diary and that where everyone is getting this from before according to your diary you are not even close to 1400 calories per day.

Dont misunderstand , I am sure everyone thinks your results are great but the point of this site is to do it healthy and permanently which means eating properly and excercising so I would start filling out your food diary completely every day if you want everyone to quit saying you need to eat more.

note taken.. didn't realize people were going to research this so much.

Of course they are going to research...who doesnt want to have your results...thats the key to weight loss researhing, deficit, water. they are just trying to figure out how you lost 15lbs in less than a month that's all. No harm intended to your results or you personally! Good Luck though!:flowerforyou:

Wow not sure why everyone's being so negative..perhaps they are genuinely commenting out of concern for your long term goals. I started out my journey the wrong way and was strictly eating only 1200 calories a day..working out at least 2 hours a day and going into negative for net calories. I wasn't losing weight and got so frustrated. Then I found out what my TDEE number is and am now working at 25-30%. I'm was supposed to be eating around 2000 calories a day based on my activity level but this is impossible so I cut down on my workouts :) I now try to net around 1400 calories a day (and yeah it's forcing down calories lol) and work out 2-3 times a week instead. Sounds like you made an awesome plan to kick start your weight loss and now it sounds like your motivated and determined to get into a healthy lifestyle for long term. I really notice a difference in your pictures...great job!!!

thanks for the comment! I didn't realize people research your diary after you post a weight loss picture, but I don't log everything because I don't want to become obsessed. the lower calories were more for the challenge, and I will slowly add some back, once I find my 'sweet spot'. everyones different :) thanks again for the comment!

    Which golden rule you ask?

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all :)

Isn't that Thumper's Mom's rule? I believe the golden rule is "Treat others as you would have them treat you"

In this case, I think that educated MFP members are giving good and constructive input that they, themselves would welcome.

    But whatev.

i think that the people that are being "negative" are supporting you more than you'll admit. they are just making sure you aren't starving yourself. you are right that they dont know everything you eat in a day, they are basing it off your diary. but to say they are being negative is wrong. you want support, they gave it to you by making sure you were eating enough. if you are, then fantastic job. if not, i would consider eating more so you are getting the nutrients of that.

QFT. I know that I spent way too much time bumbling around doing what I hoped would work. I am REALLY grateful for the veterans on this site who have learned good science and what works and is willing to share this information.. for free... so that we can all succeed well. I don't see it as negativity, but constructive. I didn't get where I am at because I already knew all the right answers. If people care enough to give input... they are trying to help you, not criticize you.

  • For what its worth, I dont think a weight loss of around 3.5 pds a week is extreme. Listen to your doctor and listen to yourself. Im pretty sure your dr would tell you thats within the range of a healthy weight loss, and the benefits of the inches lost, especially those on the waist, will have a tremendous impact on your health. My opinion is, if it makes you healthier and happier, do it. Whatever "it" is for you. We can debate the thousands of ways ppl get there, but you cannot debate the health benefits of a smaller waist line. Good luck to you and I hope to see you stick around. Even if out of spite ;) In fact, Id love to see you post a hot pic in a bikini in a few months, see who talks crap then.

thanks :) I might just have to! I don't expect to lose that much from here on out. I started at 303 pounds and wasn't eating really well (think pint of ice cream every night) so my body lost a lot of water weight and the easy stuff. I know this wont be easy. thanks for the comment. it made me smile :)

Way to go! You look awesome! My Chiropractor was telling me about this Wed - It was her last day and she lost around 21 pounds. Was it very expensive? I finish a Biggest Loser with friends next Tuesday (down about 13.5 in 9 weeks). Obviously my loss has slowed and I am looking for a new motivator. I am thinking of trying this challenge OR doing another Biggest Loser at my Y. Were you hungry a lot on this? I am always hungry at night for a snack. ALWAYS. And what about the cleanse days, no meat right?

hi there! I ate normal food the whole time! I had ground bison. ground turkey, chicken, and fish on the cleanse, along with a lot of veggies and whole grains like quinoa and brown rice, or whole wheat wraps.

the only times I felt hungry was when I had a really good day at the gym and I figured my metabolism was in overdrive, but if I was hungry I ate. my favorite snacks were sunflower seed butter/or almond butter on rice cakes or apples with peanut butter. I really chose the challenge to break my bad habits of eating a pint of ice cream for dessert every night and it def helped.

the 24 day challenge is pretty expensive ($190) but the cleanse is only $32 and I really recommend it if your trying to get past a slow period or jump start something. it wasnt harsh and I wasn't glued to the toilet.

i'm a snacker at home too, so I would eat some wasa crackers with pb slathered on them and I really enjoyed my nighttime dessert of UMP cookies and cream protein mixed with almond milk and ice. it kind of reminded me of a cookies and cream milk shake.

if you have any other questions please feel free to message me!
