After a routine of lifting my muscles are usually fatigued enough I can only do a protein shake and a stretch or yoga. Nothing to strenuous for me!

Do 15 minutes of cardio/HIIT OR do you do 15 minutes of abs and stretching? Ready??? GO!

Slam a protein shake so I don't miss my anabolic window

eff you for posting that first...

Either Cardio or HIIT because the military requires me to run, so I train for it after I've started to fatigue. (I'm also a lot more comfortable with running after resistance training because I'm not worried nearly as much about having an uneasy gait due to fatigue than I am about watching the weights I'm lifting quivering over my cranium.)

Run on the treadmill for 2 minutes and then spend around 5 minutes stretching. The last 8 are spent showering, changing, and finding a post recovery snack.

I break up my weight lifting into circuits and between each one, I'll run for 2 minutes to keep my heart rate up.

Jump on a bike and watch the end of Sportscenter.

My "abs" were worked while I was lifting anyway.

This is EXACTLY what I do!
  • If I don't do my cardio before I'm too spent to do it after.
  • Dance! All I wanna do is DANCE!!!!!!

Chalk it up as a win, get a head start home so I can feast. No sense in wasting time at the gym.

I eat. I am ravenous every time after I lift.

    You all are hilarious!!

I typically will sit on a bike and ride slowly to catch my breath or stretch too. Sometimes though, I feel guilty wasting precious time!!

Who am I kidding, most times, when I'm done early, I go home early...

10 mins on the bike while watching news/Judge Judy. 5 minutes to get home and fix something to eat! Because I Want Food!

I go back and do whatever it was that I skipped to cause me to finish 15 minutes early.
