Well I'm all for it, this is what I intend on doing. I don't know if I'll post daily here about it, but I'm up for the challenge. Sugar needs to be kept at bay. :laugh:0

No Thanks also.... I don't track it so wouldn't do me any good..... Best of Luck though........0

Yeah, sorry. Same here. I don't eat refined sugar or processed food, so all of my sugar comes from fresh fruit. But if it means you're cutting out sodas and other nutrient-lacking high-sugar calories, then you go girl! I definitely wish you luck. Nobody ever went to the hospital from a powdered doughnut deficiency!0

It's got 26 grams of sugar for a reason. Sugar is excellent to support vigorous exercise and the recovery thereof.
There's nothing at all wrong with sugar. Don't limit yourself for no good reason.0 -
Eat all da sugar!!!0

I'm in...and it matters! A little research on the impact of insulin on fat loss proved it to me.0

Eats pineapple and protein shake. Goes over default goal by lunch.
I fail.0 -
I've stayed well under 50g of sugar a day since this thread started. I don't see a problem keeping up with that, its not that hard to do. Just cut out the excessive stuff.0

I rarely passed MFP's set goal for sugar intake since I had joined !!0

Just stop tracking sugar, done!0

I think I just had my months worth of sugar this afternoon. It was fun and I don't regret it.0

I just saw this today and I am totally in. I've been without any sugar for last 2.5 weeks (other than sugar in vegetables and plain yogurts). I am intended to do it for a month, so count on me for support!0

Sugar isn't my issue..salt is..eek!!0

Yay! The voice of reason. :flowerforyou:0 -
I eat fruit, and that puts me over the MFP magic sugar cap frequently. I've also lost over 10% of my body weight eating this way (and drinking wine daily). IMHO I don't believe that sugar is the dietary equal to punching babies, killing puppies, or tripping old ladies. For me, it's moderation, balance, and honest tracking, not restricting specific things like sugar, fat or carbs.0

No reason to limit sugars, just watch your calorie intake. There's really no point in demonizing foods or macros.0

My Goal intake has been 35 but that means no fruit or no recovery drink. Only 12 more days left. :-)0

Same. 150 I can do, 35g a day is a recipe for dietary adherence disaster for 99% of people.
I like the taste (and fibre) of fruit and cereal... not to mention icecream.0 -
My goal for sugar 25 and I am sticking to that for last weeks. Feeling good.0

How is everyone? Still hanging there?0
-
I haven't gone over 150 grams this month!0

Yeah, it's not that hard to do when you don't eat any fruits and not many vegetables...0
