This is why I'm easing up on myself lately. You look absolutely amazing and you shouldn't be beating yourself up over an overindulgence. Seriously. Look at your abs. Look. At. Them.

I totally embrace some indulgence... everything is permissible in my diet - within acceptable limits.

It is a pattern of overindulgence that is rampant in my family that I need to be conscious of, and it's one I've started falling into again. We are all emotional eaters in my family, though I seem to be the only one who has done anything to fight it by adding exercise and food management into my daily living. All the women in my family are anywhere from 30 - 100 pounds overweight. And while I think they are all beautiful, they aren't all healthy or happy with their current skin.

I've done this many times. The other night, I was sick of watching calories so I bought and ate an entire bag of Cheetos. I am not going to lie -- it was sooooo good to have a fattening snack, but I gained two pounds from it, even with exercise.

Now I want a butter tart!!! My Mom makes the BEST tarts. I ask for those instead of cake for my birthday.

you probably gained 2 pounds from water retention due to the salt in them, but the cheetos themselves wouldn't have caused a 2 pound gain... they're probably high in cals, but not likely 6000 cals :)

And I so the same. I bought a box of Twinkies on my way to the gym last night... and had two before bed.

Or...you can celebrate the fact that you can get past the occasional nutritional indulgence without the usual penalty because you kick so much *kitten*!

    I like!

I think if I run to Canada I will burn enough calories to eat 4 or 5 butter tarts. Can I get them in Windsor or do I have to go a little further into Canada to find a real butter tart?
