Not very vegetarian friendly, so I'm out. But I would get sick with this amount of eggs to eat every day.1
-
It doesn't look very healthy too me, calorie wise... If you choose to do this (for whatever reason) I would do it under doctor supervision and consult a dietician before hand.2
-
if you are trying to break a love affair with eggs this would do it3
-
sounds like starvation to me!0
-
hmmm... show me a commando, any commando, that could perform on this diet...2

I've never tried it. But Yuck! I wouldn't want to . I hate tomatoes, and I don't particularly like eggs, especially plain eggs without anything on them.
I've tried diets like this before, though, where you eat certain foods on certain days and lose weight. I've lost weight on them, but as soon as I started eating normally again I gained it all back.0 -
That just screams BAD IDEA to me. :noway:
And what's up with all the eggs? :laugh:0 -
I think it's trash.0
-
Thats my feelings - an wouldnt she just put the weight back on after??
Can your body survive on this?0 -
Seen it before, it's stupid, and the name is ridiculously wrong.0
-
Some bits of it seem ok (fish tomaotes and salad sounds lovely!) but I'm always suspicious of diets that demand precise and particular combinations at particular times.
The most puzzling bit of this one is the choice of egg or grapefruit - those have very different nutritional make-up. The egg has protein and fat, while the grapefruit has carbs and sugar. That seems odd to make them an either/or.0 -
i used to love eggs and tried this when i was vegetarian but stopped after day 3 because my uncle told me to. he did it for 2 weeks, lost 1st 9lbs but said he has never felt so depressed to hear "fancy egg on toast??" lol also said that toilet times were suicidal and every time he walked he needed to release a stinky fart trail behind him lol happy to say i'm now vegan and so glad i didn't follow through with this diet...and oh yea he put all that weight back on (apparently it wasn't the two/three take outs a week and cakes he likes to eat) :P0

I'm allergic to eggs so a no go for me! Doubt I would put my body through that anyways though.0

I'm in!
Always on the look out for more fad diets!
Woohoo!0 -
This diet looks absurd.0

thats it, you are not suppose to go back to eating normally. Thats what got us all here in the first place. OP: It may work if you follow the plan like it says to (exactly like it says to!)the real question is can you put up with that type of lifestyle?1 -

Can the people AROUND survive your body on this??? Wow...:sick:1 -
Did an egg farmer come up with this diet?0

Did an egg farmer come up with this diet?

I don't get it. It doesn't sound appealing, but it certainly seems like enough food. It clearly says unless amounts are specified, you can eat as much as you want of what is listed. The only thing I see amounts stated for is breakfast (1 egg or 1 grapefruit). Other than that, it looks like you can eat as much of the other stuff as you want, which is probably good since I know I'd be starving by lunch if I only ate 1 egg or 1 grapefruit for breakfast, lol.
Day 1 with 9 total eggs seems a bit much though, lol0 -
I am at the end of day two, steak was lush Wish me luck ....0
-
I thought this was about eating naked... *shows herself out*0

Why is this called a "commando" diet? The last thing commandos want to do is carry cartons of eggs into the field.
Plus it's way too little food - a real world commando diet would be 2000-3000 calories of packaged rations coupled with about 3000 calories of unavoidable exercise.1 -
Holy egg farts! :sick:0
-
I'm pretty sure that the people here who have lost weight and maintained their loss over time did not do it with ridiculous food plans like this.1
-
There are no good seven day diets.2
-
First: It's a diet.
Second: It's 9 eggs on the first day.
Third: It lasts only 7 days and teaches you nothing about how to eat right to be healthy.2 -
Let''s all go commando!1
