Words/Phrases that bug you!?
I hate when mothers call themselves "mamas" or "mama" with an animal attached ... "mama bear." Sorry, it just always comes off as contrived.
Just heard this the other day ... "baby moon" I guess a vacation you take before you have a kid?
"hubby" makes me gag, can't stand when guys say, "the wife."
anyone over 30 saying "selfie"
I know intentions are good with this one, but how water down has "thoughts and prayers" become?
It's car payment ... NOT CAR NOTE! lol annoying
I hate when grown women call men ... "boys." as in, "The bar last night was fun, there lots of boys."
For football fans ... anyone that says "prevent defense" was the reason a team being soundly beaten either scored a lot of points or came back for a win.

This is more of a grammatical irritant but I go mad over "you're" and "your" being used in the wrong context. The same with "Their", "There" & "They're".0

HI Gab,
Im back on, I need to get back to taking care of MYSELF!!!0 -
HI Gab,
Im back on, I need to get back to taking care of MYSELF!!! What does "selfie" mean?0 -
Lately, when someone verbalizes hashtag(insert random words/phrases here).
I get it when it's used in status messages in social media... but it serves no purpose when it's verbalized other than to make the person saying it sound like an idiot.0 -
Lets circle back on that point
It is what it is
Let me run it up the ladder
There's a bunch more but I have been out of the corporate world for a few years now.
And I have to agree with k8blujay2 - hashtags are really annoying unless you're on twitter or Facebook.0 -

All of these are funny I'll add women calling their boobs "the girls".0

^ I agree with that one, silly...also.....someone had mentioned "hubby", baby mama or baby daddy, trailer park trash, booty or booty call, someone calling their sig other or spouse "my ole lady" or "my ole man", psycho, stalking...people have ran some of these into the ground!!! I also tire of the young people referring to everything as "Gay" and calling each other the word "*kitten*." I don't like anything that's so repetitive that it becomes annoying point blank!0 -
guesstimate and double negatives ugh0

pecker and moist are the worst words in existence0

^^Agreed, also referring to them as puppies!
My vote for worst word is *kitten* - it makes me want to insert screwdrivers in my ears & pluck out my eyes.0 -

literally.
As in, my head LITERALLY exploded.
The perceived misuse of "random" used to raise my hackles until I listened to a segment on All Things Considered. The precise mathematical definition of "random" has been in use since the late 1800s but the word has been used to describe somethng that is lacking a definite purpose or unpredictable since the 1700s.0 -
"Like".
"That is like... so totally awesome!"
"And he like... lost weight."0 -
I don't like the words tid-bits, tiddlywinks, boobies, titties.
I can't stand when somebody asks me if I want a pop.0 -
panties and moist are the worst words in existence

When a grown man refers to himself as a "bad boy". If you're referring to yourself or letting others call you that, then you're not a man, period. It's childish.0

I really cannot stand when people say preggers or prego instead of pregnant.0

Gesundheit annoys me. Just say God bless you when someone sneezes.
Also the word used as in I used to do whatever it is you did before. That bugs me.
and
Veggies - grow up and say vegetables.
Oh and that was delish - I hate the word, it's not a word.0 -
"You want your cake & to eat it too"
Well of course I want to eat the damned cake!0 -
"Going forward" -- more of a corporate thing
I also strongly dislike when people agree with you and overly verbalize it "Okay okay okay" or "Oh yeah yeah yeah"0 -
I really abhor baby talk. All of it. I know adult women who use it in conversation with fellow adults. Its bad enough when gibberish is spewed at children but using it in everyday conversation? Beyond ridiculous.
Bad grammar and a poor grasp of the English language is also irritating.
As is superfluous swearing.

HATE it when people use the words "Hon" "Honey" or "Dear" or the like, when they don't know you, and especially when they are younger then you..0

pecker and moist are the worst words in existence
This exactly.
"Moist..." There is never an appropriate time to use that word.0
