So, when I started taking anti-depressants, I didn't want to, because I was afraid it was going to change my personality. Duh! Of course it'll change your personality. That's kinda the point! Your personality is broken, or you wouldn't be in this spot.
As for you, OP, you need an attitude adjustment. You will not be happy or satisfied with the kind of woman who will be attracted to the kind of person you are being right now, so be a different person and you will attract one that you will be happy with. That is to say, a-holes attract a-holes. You don't want to be with an a-hole, so stop being an a-hole.
As others have said, you need to work on yourself individually right now. Until you're able to stand on your own (and able to stand your own company-- i.e., to be alone), you're not going to be ready to be in a real relationship.
If you are motivated by having people tell you to man up and stop being a pssy, fine. Man up and stop being a pssy; get your hind end to a counselor, and invest the time and money and do the work to learn healthy coping and communication skills. If you add that to the other assets that you enumerated in great self-aggrandizing detail, you might just turn out not to be a waste of skin.

Really, I've never been depressed all my life and I used to make fun of people who were depressed. Serious. I used to troll them, calling them *kitten* and sometime would "help" by telling them that they were weak and just need to man up. The start of the depression was a girl that rejected me and went off with some other guy.

Like another stated, I honestly can't tell if you are 100% genuine.
If you can't go to the Drs just yet, go to depressedtest.com and answer honestly. It will give you a very good indicator of if you are clinically depressed.
You may not actually be depressed, but just unhappy with how your life is playing out and that it is not what you expected to have by now. Sounds like you have low self esteem, and place more emphasis and importance on values that others don't.
On a separate note, as someone who is recovering from depression I just want you to know that it is people like you who say "Man up, pull yourself together" etc that prevent people like me and millions of others from expressing our need for help and continue suffering in silence and dying a little bit more on the inside every day until we finally can't take it anymore and just break down on the inside and out.
This is spot on. Based on what you are saying it doesn't sound like you are depressed or even really know what depression is but if you are you need to see a doctor. Depression isn't something you can man up and snap out of please don't say this to someone suffering from depression even if you aren't trying to be mean you are being mean by saying these things. They aren't helpful. I really hope you aren't suffering from depression. Either way I hope you feel better soon.0 -
