If you don't have high blood pressure, a day of high sodium shouldn't be a problem. Just drink a lot of water tomorrow. And don't weigh yourself!

Basically this. Water and stay off the scale. No harm done.

Drink lots of water. It will happen. Exercise a little harder later or tomorrow.

Why are you so concerned with a little water retention? That's sad...

You better not workout either...also causes water retention...lose that water...whatever you do, you need to lose the water...because that's what matters.

I'm planning to have had about 6 grams of sodium by the end of the day today. I had 6.5 grams on Monday.

    Haven't died, surprisingly.

I don't think it's sad to show an interest in sodium but as everyone says dont worry too much. Drink loads of water and Definately don't weigh yourself for a few days as it won't be a true reflection.

One day - or many - if you don't have high blood pressure is not a problem. Stay hydrated.

You can go to bed. Sleep. Wake up the next morning, and not have a bad sodium day.

Eat a banana. I hear that the potassium in the banana counteracts modest amounts of sodium. Take the advice above. If what I hear about bananas is not true, then you have had a tasty snack. Either way, forget it and move on.
